Man watching American car lists blows my mind how fkn different as a Aussie our car market is so fkn different price and performance/reliability wise I’ve never seen a list of best anything cars with no lexus, Honda, like literally 10 JDM cars I could’ve chucked in here and this coming from a fkn Audi S3 2015 8VS former owner with like whatever 50,000km is in miles idk 20,000 something I think with bolt on TE37SL all stock internals minus turbo inlet elbow some aftermarket racing sparks plugs and a Galano stage 1 tune I actually understood what the converted term sleeper super car killer meant only down side is uhhh went through 3 waterpump/thermostate at 2k+ a pop if there was a aftermarket non sub par thermal plastic option you service it correctly seen some examples within your price range with fraction of the mileage like brutally seen 2015-2016 Audi s3 going for 50,000-80,000 kms on odometer so just say fkn 25,000-50,000 miles for $30,000-35,000Aud converted thats within the $20,000 USD yes you can buy a twin turbo charged inline 6 great option or the dumbest financial decision a high mileage older c63 merc with 3x-4x the mileage or bus lane every v8 without a turbo or twin turbo in the world with couple grand in a A3 Audi platform inline 4 with a 2L single turbo charger as dual have twice as many issues to go wrong do what I did buy TE37 rays racing forged rims as they’re the most rigid don’t be a lemon ricer put bolt ons at a safe offset don’t lower it because newsflash you can adjust the ride with drive select and don’t cheap out on the tune galano holds like idk basically all the world records for euro platforms dont do anything yourself you’re way to dumb unless you’re a qualified mechanic that’s coming from a borderline avionics engineer so I mean it don’t fkn cheap out with tuning unless you can atleast cop a credited engineering degree since college/uni is for cowards go accredited route based, cost less than 3k for parts and tune AUD mind you and 5k for TE37sl forged rays racing, plus extra band and bit for Michelin pilot sport 5 tyres and watch the confusion on people’s faces when a inline 4 worth 1/4-1/3 of any car capable of even keeping up with it shit was a fkn romp the Germans cheated with the stacking of make the lightest fkn compact sedan, fkn phat single 2L intercooled turbo charger where car comfortably sits 100-110celcius idk Fahrenheit go look it up make the best awd system max torque and let a fkn borderline quantum computer speed haldex system cheat by loading gears and pushing vectored torque to individual wheels in milleseconds so they’re functioninally retard proof fkn dual sequential clutch with gear changes so quick I glad I only had 6 shits scary get better gas mileage than literally anything on this list minus Corolla while car is tuned specifically Galano key word there this fkn maniac recently partnered with two tuning shops the two best in country for Audi golf Porsche I had just had the cold air pop filter since can run a stage 1 geuinely dyno tune on entire stock just add like couple hundred bucks spark plugs as only requirement being only aftermarket requirement and start scaring C63 owners bully every car anywhere near it’s price point for a fraction of the price and before some unfortunate soul goes but Horsepower is only x amount drag anything that comes to your mind around 30 degrees bend+ at 240kmh not even on track I’m talking fkn basic high way without even having to bat a eye 2x as fast as any V8 minus one or two hidden gems hint ones a lexus ISF other is a Merc E500 but only price competitive option in the lexus which is what I’m replacing s3 with however you can’t get anywhere near the cheap tuning potential like Audi 8V platform shits so cheap it’s actually stupid not to tune assuming dyno and you know what you’re doing my car was getting double the gas mileage or damn near while being so much quicker i was afraid to put sports mode on in public roads and you avoid the tractor gold r note baby not being a goober and maxing turbo noise turbo go whooshhhhh vvvv instant gear change low growl crackle whoooooah vvvv repeat and just win ?profit?
