Hubli dharwad has brts .. headquarters of South western railways and good airport ..roads are good 3 bus stands ..if we see Belgaum bus stand it's worse than village bus stand ..roads are utter waste ..every south karnataka district headquarters has better infrastructure than Belgaum ..

Its good that 3 cities of Karnataka are in the list. But good only for those 3 cities, not as a whole to Karnataka. For better development of Karnataka. Every district head quarter must be at the same ( or nearly same) level of infrastructure facilities. Reasons: I list (not comprehensive) few points. here 1) it is the lack of people's effort who live in other cities or 2) the lack of MLA's from those places or 3) Government's (all govt. s) partial interest in developing only selected places and ignoring other districts in the state.

Contrary to the popular notion , Bengaluru is beautiful even today. It still is very cool. Mostly people talk of 1980s, 1990s Bangalore to be cooler.. the temperature difference won’t be more than 1-2 degrees if at all. It’s just nostalgia that make people think that way. Chennai is much better today than what it was during 2003-2007 when I did my engineering there. It is a lot more greener and cleaner. Hyderabad needs to tidy up the act. The new parts of the city is really beautiful. But the old parts of the city and the not so old parts like kphb, ameerpet, kukatpally, and all are very badly maintained . We should learn from Bengaluru tender sure roads . A road should have a proper margin with wide footpaths along with trees on both sides. Lane markings on the roads. These are missing in Hyderabad . Only begumpet, jubilee hills , banjara hills and the hi tech city are maintained well. Rest is chaotic .

Actually In India, Southern Part, Western Part, Delhi are very well developed with good education, High share of GDP, High Urban Areas and Low poverty. And states from North like Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana have very nice HDI. And North East India is a beautiful place and good in Education and other Social factors but lack major cities but the population too is very low. Kolkata city from West Bengal is also well developed. Now we have a seperate area in India we call it " Hindi belt " with states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh. the population is high and the development is low. But if their governments concentrate they can improve best as they have best resources. These states including Delhi always have Hindi - Muslim quarrels [ Not people, politicians only ], Corruption. But the people there are very capable but not given support.
