Second Dinner is always going to make it a point that the best card every month will be the season pass. And if the card isnt as good, theyll go back and buff it. The games main revenue is from regular players buying the pass and spending nothing else. The whales are a tiny portion of the player base.

Hi Alex, I love this section, but would you consider adding a bonus "cheap deck" with none of the cards released in the last 3-4 months? As a F2P player, I'm missing around 20-25 series 5 cards (and growing) so I can't play any of the decks you showcase here. Keep up the good work

my man i played this game day one, and i cant buy the battle passes (it costa a lot because of no localized prices), and i play almost everyday and still cant play most of these decks and half of the time or in certain meta like this at least i missing a card or two , that's how they get you to spend money brothers so dnt waist ur money, if you can afford just by the battle pass and play what you got for fun dnt chase the meta. today i reached infinite with arishem deck i dnt know if you had him or not the last two seasons with clog. you should watch MegaMogwai he is really good deck builder and he make off meta decks and he does not have all the cards too cause he dint play the game for almost a year, you may find something you like he cooked.

The #1 deck is almost exactly what everyone was playing at the end of Deadpool's Diner to counter Arishem (a la Cassandra Nova and Darkhawk), with the obvious additions of the new cards like Silver Sable and Agent Venom. But the idea remains the same. Double up on Iron Man or Darkhawk with Mystique. Feels like a classic already.

Agent venom being in 6 out of 10 decks , is why sd needs to put that card in check . And look for potential adjustments .

A big problem with these lists is that they look at post-infinite statistics which means the decks are not that useful for climbing to infinite (at least not without modification). Pre and post infinite are basically different games. Pre infinite players are much more conservative and your deck needs strong defence and tech cards to climb effectively. Post infinite players care much less and it’s all about the Hail Marys. I played opponents in the top infinite ranks who honestly played like bot plays that had a 1 in 1000 chance of coming off. You don’t see that pre infinite where you get 1 cube retreats at the whiff of having a better hand than the opponent.

I play the Scream deck, but I replace Nebula with Rouge. It's a great counter to numerous cards. Including Luke Cage as that usually stops Scream decks.

I've been toying with Grandmaster in the scream deck. I try to get Kraven center and Kingpin right. On turn 6 I can Stegron left into mid to feed Kraven. Then Grandmaster left to move Stegron into Kraven and Stregon will feed a card into Kingpin right. With scream on the board it's sometime a big swing in point and board shuffling.

Wanna know something funny? I didn't want scream coz I didn't have enough of the series 3 cards in her archetype. I luckily pulled Man thing and Mobius (wanted them for my high evo and Pixie decks) and I was happy. Decided to save for either Anni wolf week or Red guardian and thena weeks. But yesterday I had only one key and got the infamous snap itch because the cards this week were great themselves. So I did something a budget player shouldn't do and I blew my small load. I pulled Scream from Random series 4 or 5 cache, the very week after her release 😂. What are the odds. Now I didn't know what to feel because she's a good card but I didn't have all the cards for the best performing decks. So I sat down and used whatever cards I had and used some tech cards according to the whole meta and my pocket meta. I was pleasantly surprised to see the deck performing alright. Ngl, I was happy with the pull. Now I can't wait to get my hands on the remaining series 3 cards and possibly an Alioth.😎

@paradox1995 I don't get it at all. Why are we both screwed? Name me a single battle pass card, that was nerfed during month it was released. I've never complained about card nerfed after I get it from spotlight caches, because balance is more important then resources (*we_are_not_the_same.meme*). Also I didn't say sd should nerf this card to the ground, just a small touch, so it's not the best card that overperforms. But in reality they'll make it 2/3 that makes all cards in deck 3 power before it comes to spotlight cache, so yeah, that is disappointing.

She's an archetype card so if you want to play "move them" she is basically a must have. She probably won't see much play in other decks tho, similar to High Evo, Liv Trib, Phoenix Force, etc.

Got to infinite with one of Alex's m Deck 1 the moment he cooked it. For Reference: 1- Sable, Korg, Nico 2 - Grandmaster, A. Venom 3 - Rockslide, Cass Nova, Mystique, Black Widow 4 - AbsMan 5 - Darkhawk, Iron Man 6 - None This "final version" of deck 5, I feel, may have made that climb easier (as I suck with managing playlines and I feel it had more safety handles). But nothing beats the absolute joy of getting to infinite whilst tilting enemies with Widow, into AbsMan, into Grandmaster for the lulz 🤣

Addendum: My favourite play line was against a Hela Deck Turn 1: Sable Turn 2: Korg, Nico with Copy Spell Turn 3: Widow Turn 4: AbsMan right Turn 5: Grandmaster the AbsMan, then play the Copied Widow 😅 Poor lad's discarded list were two widow's bite and 1 black cat and the Jubilee play dragged out the rock on turn 5 🤣 4 Cubes XD
