Encanto is a beautiful and magical story about families. Also, I know that this may be an unpopular opinion, but I wouldn’t call Abuela a villain. She wasn’t evil or malicious, I think she had some unprocessed trauma and she took it out on Mirabel. To her credit, she understood where she messed up and made up with Mirabel. Most of Disney’s family-centered stories and dynamics are so sweet and beautiful to watch.

I still think the Robinsons were the best "family" in a true since of the word. Mirabel's parents and Antonio seemed liked the only ones without issues in Encanto. Not saying families can't have issues, but they had was some pretty big issues.

My family was decimated in the span of 15 years, going from nine people down to four. Of the five we lost, two were my older sisters who died of breast cancer and liver failure 8 years apart. Now my family is down to me, my parents, and my adult niece. I've used Stitch's description more than once since then: _"This is my family. It may be little, and broken, but still good."_

Great video! Some of my favorite families are the Fa family from Mulan, The Lion King, Moana, Beauty and The Beast, The Emperor's New Groove, Lilo and Stitch. There needs to be a part 2 to this video because there are some others including Snow White and the Seven dwarves, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp, Mary Poppins, The Jungle Book, Up, and The Little Mermaid. There should also be a video of the worst Disney families like Cinderella and some others. I hope to see those in a future video. The quote from Lilo and Stitch never gets old either.

I'm kinda surprised Rapunzel's family didn't make the list. They never stopped praying for her return or keeping her memory alive, and when she came back, they didn't just welcome their daughter back with open arms; they eagerly accepted the young man that also brought her back, even though he was literally a thief on death row. Aunt Cass will always be one of my favorite parents in the Disney franchise. She took in her nephews who were still growing boys while trying to run a cafe as well at the same time as getting them enrolled into schools, taking care of them during sick days and even putting up with their inventions when things go wrong. Not to mention you can tell she's just as broken as Hiro is when Tadashi dies but she hides her pain so she can be strong for her only surviving nephew. It's a shame what the internet has done to her.

I don’t know if I can rank them but my favorites are The Incredibles, the Lion King family, The Robinson’s, The Madrigals, Tarzan and Kala, Lilo, Stitch and Nani, Belle and Maurice, The Hamada’s and Aunt Cass, Duchess and her kittens, the rabbit family from Robin Hood and the Fa family. I know exactly who you’re talking about, they are so sweet, and the kids have such a sweet relationship with each other, and their friend, the turtle, the glasses wearing turtle. That detail particularly sticks of my mind because of that age I was enamored with anything that wore glasses, because they look like me, or I look like them, whichever way it was going to end up. I have a very funny anecdote involving that movie, and my older brother, his name is John, if that tells you anything. Although, if someone can tell me how much a farthing is? I have a tendency to fix it on little details, would be like us getting a whole 50 Cent piece or a whole dollar coin? Or even just a whole dollar? I’m trying to make the equivalency.

How exactly are Anna, Elsa, King Agnarr, and Queen Iduna a "great" Disney family?! They're actually horrible beyond belief! For Agnarr & Iduna, they're so stupid, incompetent, and abusive that all they really did was lock up Elsa in her own room for her entire childhood all because of that accident that almost got Anna killed, tell Elsa to be afraid of herself all the time, do almost nothing to help her learn how to control her ice powers, among other awful things! They're literally the worst Disney parents ever. They're so bad that they managed to make Buck Cluck from Chicken Little look decent in comparison and that's saying a lot! For Anna & Elsa, their relationship is extremely toxic with Elsa being a worse sister to Anna than Anna is to Elsa. All Elsa did was keep shutting Anna out and always refusing to speak to nor interact with her until Elsa's coronation day, never telling Anna the truth about her powers, arguing with and even going as far as to tell Anna to just leave over marrying Hans which made Anna stupidly pull off her gloves which resulted in Elsa lashing out and accidentally exposing her magic in front of the whole kingdom, which made her run away and abandon her home, everybody including Anna, and her responsibilities as the new queen of Arendelle, striking Anna in the heart when she tried to convince her to come back and undo the eternal winter that she had caused, and creating a giant snow monster to chase Anna away instead of doing the right thing by going after and catching up to her to try to save her life before it's too late! For Anna, she caused the majority of the events in the first movie to happen thanks to her being written as an annoying, immature, stupid, and careless klutz with no common sense, no sense of danger, and an incapability of listening! Neither of the two sisters change and grow as characters and barely did anything to make up it to each other! Not to mention that the first movie's pacing was all over the place and really didn't even focus on the importance of family and especially the love between two sisters that much. Instead, it was more worried about subverting and lampooning "sexist" princess tropes just so that Disney could pat themselves on the back and appease all those dumb, whiny, and attention-seeking SJWs, feminists, and misandrists! The same toxic family wasn't that much better in the undeserving cash-grab sequel either. The retconning which involved Agnarr & Iduna doesn't excuse their crappy parenting and especially their shameful treatment towards Elsa, while having absolutely nobody to look after both their two daughters and their entire kingdom right before they left like they should've done and ended up dying on the way to their destination. Anna was being way too clingy to Elsa after what happened in the first movie. Elsa broke her promise that both she and Anna will journey to Athollan together and pushes Anna away into a river so that Elsa could head to Athollan alone because she felt that letting her go with Elsa would be too dangerous, which by sending Anna down a raging river actually put her into even more danger. And to add further insult to injury, at the end of the sequel, she has Anna take over Arendelle as queen for her so that Elsa could spend the rest of her days living happily in the enchanted forest since now she knows that she was not only the fifth element, but also the "bridge" between Arendelle and the forest all along! So she deliberately abandoned both her sister and her kingdom for selfish reasons! You guys are so blind and delusional that it astounds Frozen haters and true Disney fans like me! Loving, caring, and relatable Disney family my ass! At least you think that Lilo & Stitch's family is superior because they most certainly are, no doubt!

That moment between Kala and Tarzan and Tarzan’s, maybe, five? That’s how old I was when I saw the movie anyway. And yes, unlike nowadays, I actually did see it, with my very limited eyesight. Apparently felt strange, different than everybody else, because I wore glasses. I know it sounds really simple, but at the time it was really big. In that moment between them, how they’re different, but yet, they’re exactly the same, physically, they look different, but keep inside they’re not really mean an impact on me anyone who feels as though there somehow different or an outcast or and I quote not human, go, watch this movie, not the live action stuff, this. You’ll find me quoting strangers like me 1000 times over, All of the entire soundtrack is beautiful, first introduction to Phil Collins and I loved it
