I wouldn't touch the clip on or front wheel kits with someone else's barge pole. Front wheel gives steering and traction issues. Clip on, well you had dynamo lights as a kid ..................................... Get a mid or rear hub motor (mid if you have hills). The Lightest one is finally out, so is the photon, but they are new and may have issues. Bafang if you don't want to pedal, Tongsheng if you want a bicycle

The problem with converting a bike to an ebike is the cost of the kits. I've found that the kits including the lithium batteries are almost as expensive as buying the cheapest price complete ebike, this has put me off doing the conversion. I will probably just sell my old bike and buy a lower price ebike.

Unfortunately, until any of these ideas are offered by a major manufacture which will likely remain in business, these start up companies will likely go out of business quickly and the purchaser of these products will be SOL. Also, all batteries must now be UL compliant, as the battery fires from cheap Chinese generic cells is getting way out of hand. 11 deaths this year in the UK so far, I believe 15 deaths in NYC, over a hundred fires in 6 months. These people were burned to death, yet these marginal companies fail to provide proper safe batteries.

Yo pensaba que eran los menos eficientes por perder torque al creer que patinaría en algunos momentos...pensaba que los motores que van debajo de los pedales eran los más eficientes por tener engranes pero sentía que el ruido del rose de las dos cadenas más el propio motor sería un infierno... no sé cuál comprar... el último me parecio el mejor, 40 kilómetros de velocidad máxima en colinas por 300 dolares está perfecto...

the pikaboost is way to expensive for the product it doesnt offer even half the milage you can get from other kits as well as you need to take weight into account so if your not a thin thin build you can expect to get maybe 8 to 10 miles out of that model as well as your not hitting 20 mph on ive seen those everywhere they are meant for children and teens and THEY ARE NOT WATER PROOF the Roe bx and the zip force are the exact same thing as the pikaboost just another model the only one that might work here is the swytch kit the rest of these are all garbage any conversion kit that has to have the main motor set up thru the peddle shaft is going to be garbage. most people dont have the one specific tool you even need to remove the peddle arms as well as your ten more likely to damage the motor with it being that low to the ground and its not last very long because none of these are waterproof as they claim to be and the amount of dirt and debrie is going to gum up your shit faster then you can fix it and then its done. most of these are a huge waste of money and some of these are more expensive then buying a pre built ebike itself. i personally wouldnt have even made this video its a really bad promotion
