The Nopales from the carne asada is cactus plant :) My grandma used to scrambled those up with eggs. Omg that chocolate flourless cake looks so good! I love pimento cheese sammiches! Everything looks so good. I love the hummingbird cake from Art Smiths. "The red dye is going to be illegal soon."😆 Awesome video as always ❤

Thankful for Chocolate snails over real snails 😊 The Brie bowl is a must, so nice to enjoy in the cooler weather. It was a crazy day with the crowds but we had such a great time eating all our faves. Even living here we don’t get to try all the things we want to try!

Such a fun video! I think it’s funny how Sam is like all 10 are equally good and Jay is like no no there is a 10 and there is a # 1😂. Basically the difference between a men & women in general. Women are more empathetic and do not want to offend anyone. Or in this case a bowl of Brie ha ha

I just had your #1 meal last night for dinner! It’s my favorite meal at this festival! I’ve had it twice this year and it was not dry either time so you must have just hit a bad batch. And the Black Forrest dessert was wonderful! My group also loves the pimento cheese sandwich, although it was served with two small bowls of tomato soup and potato soup, and no cute little Pop Eats can! ☹️ but the portion size is huge! My daughter loved the Caprese Poutine, and the escargot dessert. And we always get the empanada for lunch. We passed on the Carne Asada because the portion size was tiny for the price of $10.75.

We've had it many times where it wasn't dry, we still love the dish and understand that festival food can be inconsistent. Boooo to no Pop Eats can!!! The Carne Asada is too expensive, we agree.

Always high ratings when you're eating all your faves!! The crowds were some of the worst we've ever seen, but we were having fun timing the lines and when we had one under 20 minutes we were cheering haha

Nice video, we were there on Saturday and although the morning was OK as the day went on the crowds quickly became soul crushing to the point we’re legitimately thinking about giving up our passes. It was that bad.

What is the average daily cost of food at the festival per person? Seems pretty pricey for small grab and go dishes.

It definitely varies greatly per person depending on your preferences. I'd say $60-$100. Mexico isn't a good both for value, but the Pop Eats soup and grilled cheese is $5 and the Caprese poutine is $8 and a huge portion. There are a bunch of desserts in the $5 range, but there are definitely pricy items with small portions.
