your mistake was including the second generation hypervenom instead of the first. A boot so bad, Nike took the skin of the first generation boot and slapped it on the second after so many complaints. That's why the first few months of production hypervenom 2's have the rigid upper, and the latter versions have the golfball texture.

Anyone remember the kelme's that had the traction grips on the instep like the predators? Not the greatest cleat but I did like how they stitched the spike plate to the sole instead of gluing it. Made them last forever which was nice because I was having to get new cleats like every 6 months with glue

My favourite are the Puma Evo Power from a couple of years ago. My reason is simple. I have really wide feet and every other boots I've had are too narrow. The Evo Power's are wide, light and enhance my ability. If I could choose boots to wear I'd have the Tiempo's, but they're just too narrow. Nike make boots for people with really skinny feet, especially the Mercurial's. Also this whole restricting boots to a position is dumb. Boots make the world of a difference so why can't a player wear what they find best for them?

Copas are sturdy and durable. If you could only afford one pair of boots, then copa is the answer. Mine still intact after 20yrs. But i dont think for overall performance they are the best. But youl'll feel home and safe in copas.
