What are the best Galaxy Watch 4 faces on the play store at the moment? With the move to wear OS, we lost the Galaxy store which was previously where we got our galaxy watch faces from, now where do you find Galaxy Watch 4 faces on the play store?

I love the TOMCAT face in the Wearables app. I changed the arms to blue and changed out the band to a black silicone diver type band that includes the silicone bezel. It looks like a true diver watch. Plus the silicone bezel helps protect the face.

I really miss the thousands of watch faces on the Tizen OS. They have everything, so I am keeping my Active 2 just to have that access. I love my GW4C with all the new features but watch faces on Wear OS leave a lot to be desired.

I just bought a GW4 and I noticed all the shadows and light effects which changed according to the watch's position in many faces in Galaxy Watch Active 2, which I gave to my girlfriend a few years back (they used the accelerometer or gyroscope data, I guess) are gone, gone, gone. And I know it's silly, but there were also watchfaces you could customize with a ticking sound, like a mechanical watch. That's gone as well. How can a far superior, more powerful watch have faces that are so flat and dull? I think they really took a wrong turn with that. The whole point of having customizable watchfaces is making every possible frill and effect available. In my opinion, they just cheapened the "watch" part of the watch.

Great video. Loved them all but the facer app and galaxy watch 4 do not play well. syncing issues with various complications Most watch faces lack Samsung health sync. battery drain issues. whilst there may be a ton of watch faces on facer its simply not worth the hassle and battery drain.

Nice... Do you know if all of these that are showing the step/hear counts if they work on the new GW4? I tried some WearOS watch faces but couldn't get the steps counts to work on the GW4.

From what I saw they worked fine, but I did see some comments, all I will say is we have to be a little patient as it will take a while for developers to get everything working properly, I reckon I'm a few months everything will be fine and there will be plenty more watch faces to choose from :)

I just downloaded the S4U Ancient and it's not customizable via the Wearable phone app but well through the watch itself. Kind of frustrating as customization through the app is much easier.

So I noticed that at least with the 4 I can't download any of the faces I bought in the galaxy store in fact I can't find any in the the galaxy store it takes me straight to Google to download a app. Can someone one help ?

Download the app in your watch form play store. The only use of the app in phone is to send data of your phone battery level to the watch if phone battery percentage is one of the components that displayed in the watch face.

Hi. i notice that AOD shows my costumized watch face for no more than seconds... and then face is dimed and the hand seconds disappeared. Why cant i see the costumized watch face all the time? maybe it drain the battery...

Yes it is a well known fact that on the galaxy watch 4 at least it drains the battery.

Facer watch faces tend to draw more battery because they're more complex and keep more of the screen turned on, especially in AOD. That said my watch still lasts more than 30 hours with a fairly complex facer watch face

Has anyone found a fix for AOD and third party faces on the LTE models? Apparently Samsung isn't going to do anything about it. I guess only people with the Bluetooth models get to be able to tell time.

I hate how cliche this is but turning the aod setting off and on again seems to do the trick for me, press it, go back to your home screen, then turn it back on, should work, sometimes you have to wait a few seconds before turning it back on 👍

It's hard to say, I think it very much depends on the actual watch face you're using, I can't see any noticeable difference in battery consumption though!

Honestly, it depends! So many factors of a watch face can effect battery life, like animations, colour and more, every watch face, whether it be official or 3rd party, will effect your battery life differently from the next!

Hi, Instead of just showing some fancy faces, pls. dive into more detail about what PRIVACY CONCERNS all these faces have. You make it look like these things just create a nice look & feel, but actually most of those so called 'faces' are real APPS that are only collecting as much as possible private data from their users. I just bought a watch4 Classic, but getting to know all those 'fancy stuff' now makes me realize more & more, it's all only about 1 thing : collecting as much as possible personal, even sensitive health data (24/7) and sell is for probably big bucks to other companies. To summarize : SMART WATCHES ARE A BIG SCAM and you guys, are the 'sympathetic promo boys'.

I suppose that is subjective. Were I on a sailboat, or in a situation with zero available electricity for extended periods, I would prefer a mechanical watch to a smart watch. If I went to the track to jog, obviously a smart watch has the edge. For pure aesthetics, mechanical watch wins, hands-down.
