A different take -- I was young when this started. Probably 10 (Math, please?) . I started watching the first season and rode it all the way to the end until season 7. Loved Angel too. When I was younger, I found Giles and Joyce irritating. Like? Fuck off, Joyce. She's the Slayer. And Giles? Giver her a break, man. She's 16 years old! I'm 35 now and Giles is my favourite character. And I appreciate Joyce's stance on matters a hell of a lot more now. Also, Xander is still funny as fuck.

Tony Head as Giles was just amazing...I was 16 when the show first aired and still had a huge crush on him. I love your voice by the way. Great video. 😊

Giles is generally a 'delightfully befuddled' Colin Firth type of character. Ripper rarely appears, but when he does, it's terrifying. That's both good writing and great acting.

I'll be honest, Giles should have been deported when he threatened Snyder. We know Snyder is brave enough to yell at Olivikan Wilkins. Snyder did have every right to expell her and we know another school is within bussing distance and Buffy is 16 (no longer entitled to education once she becomes a danger to other students.).
