I absolutely love Italian food! It's my second favorite ethnic cuisine behind Filipino/Chinese food. My favorite Italian dishes are Spaghetti or any pasta with some kind of meat sauce or meatballs, Lasagna, Ravioli, and last but not least, Pizza. Not too many people know this but at one time, Pizza was once considered as "peasant food". 🍝🍕🍴🍰👌😎😀

Okay as an Italian I have two things to say about this list. First: there are no variations of carbonara. Carbonara is with bacon, eggs and pepper, some add pecorino or other cheese. That's it. That is the real carbonara. All the other type of pasta that they call carbonara, like carbonara with sea food, or vegetable are not carbonara. They just borrow the name cause they didn't know how to call it. And for Gods sake stop selling spaghetti with meatballs as an Italian dish. It's not. You won't find spaghetti with meatball in any restaurant in Italy. Italian families don't eat spaghetti with meatballs. I have no idea where this dish comes from, but it's not Italy. It's not that because it has past in it than its automatically an Italian dish. It might be an evolution of traditional pasta with tomato sauce born in America or whoever knows where, but I promise you that spaghetti with meatballs isn't born in Italy and very few people actually eat it in Italy.

Pizza isn' t thick in the middle, you need to study the right balance of ingredients in the mixture before u cook it. For a good taste as an Napoletano I suggest you to not F****n' put a generic Cheese on it, you need a good/fresh/motherfugin'tasty Mozzarella (you needed to add "Cheese" in the name? you don' t eat it?) basically, other cheese are used for (quattroformaggi=youput4SPECIALANDGOODcheeseonthepizza). American Pizza isn't pizza, it maybe look eatable, it can be delicious sometimes, but I think that calling it pizza or American pizza is wrong, cause is totally different. Spaghetti with Meatballs is an American Cinematographic dish, I think the reference is totally out of topic even for the film sometimes, Cause this dish is simple and well known. You had to put Matriciana, Porchetta, Pampanella, Fiorentina, Polenta with winedmeat, Pasta and fresh pesto with melted parmigiano, pasta and tartufo, Ragú Napoletano, but what the caz you want to make a top ten here, Come Italy and Mangia! Cause I can see well that you didn't.

I'm American and I have never heard of anyone trying to make carbonara with all this stuff. The bacon you use is very expensive and hard to find here so we have to use another type of bacon. And our parmiggiano is no where close to being as good as what you have.

No, not all the stuff is hard to get mostly it's just the kind of bacon you use. And, the boxed type pasta we buy is not the best quality. But, it turns out pretty good. You basically just have to use what you have access too. American tomatoes are not as good as Italian tomatoes that's why we mostly try to find canned italian tomatoes when making an italian dish.
