I went to Kaimuki Middle School, but it was called Intermediate back then. From the Google aerial, it looks like the portables are still there. Art classes, chorus, field trip to the Big Island, my Sex Ed-Health teacher was a black woman with the unbelievable name "Mrs. Quick"! The food was different than Waialae Elementary but they were both great. Cafeteria duty was LOTS of fun!

Aiea Intermediate Alumni 1983-84 and 1984-85. Had a wonderful time.

I went to Kailua Intermediate in the early 80’s , funny when I read the title cuz I have never called it middle school or never heard it called middle school til I went to the mainland

Yeah, they changed it. I went to Washington Intermediate and then they changed the name to Middle School.

Moanalua Middle is great. Currently enrolled there right now as a 8th grader. Students and staff are both amazing. :)

Moanalua has an excellent Music curriculum with the best music teacher you can ever find - Mr. Elden Seta. He makes a difference in your life.
