Got my CZ P-09 for $350, favorite handgun I’ve ever shot. Only downside is spare mags are expensive and hard to get. My $170 Taurus G2C only failed once in about 600 rounds fired, another great cheap choice.

You either have a TP9sf Elite, or a TP9sfx. The TP9sf Elite is a compact model like a Glock 19 size that holds 15 rounds, and the TP9sfx is a competition model with a 5” barrel, 18 round mag capacity, and comes optics ready.

Have and carry the canik TP9DA in burnt bronze. Around 2000 rounds and 0 issues. Gave around $350 new for it. They are hard to beat for the $.

That p365 is so hard to beat I love mine. The trigger is so good hardly any recoil for its size holds 10/12 Rounds. Easy to conceal. What more could you want for $500 and it has night sights out the box

Totally agree with the list. However, I would also recommend the Springfield XD. I bought mine for under 400. It came with 3 mags and I have put at the very least 1300 rounds through it with 0 failure. Its not the prettiest pistol, but it is a very good bang for the buck. I know Springfield has a tarnished reputation, but they are good firearms. Also, love the channel. I have learned so much by watching. Thank you for making these videos.

"G" decocker only conversion kits for the Beretta are like $65. It's a moderately simple install and it totally eliminates that unnecessary slide safety.

The PX4 can be converted to G model without any additional parts. All it requires is the removal of the safety detent with a punch.

Good choice on your number one.i gave a Sig 226 for personal carry and a 365xl for my wife. I put 1500 rds thru both pistols with no failures whatsoever and one oil and clean job after 500rds. Wife is happy

I’ve been telling anyone who asks my opinion about guns in general about those 2 guns specifically and how great they are, basically for the same reasons you mentioned, and encouraging shooters to give them a try 👍😃 Sig P365 has been my default EDC for a couple of years now, and if I decide to carry something different to spice things up then the CZ P10c is the first gun from my collection that I consider, always 👍👍

I’m pleased with the list. I just bought a Beretta M9. It’s going to be my practice, and competition gun. I carry a Beretta M96 as my service pistol, and the M9 fits all the same holsters, duty and off duty. I like redundancy. And it’s much cheaper to feed than the 96. It shoots and feels exactly the same, as far as I can tell.

I bought mine at a local store here in central Ohio. It was around $450, bought through their law enforcement sales. They’re going for around $500 now. The civilian price is higher. Around $550. If you can find one in stock. This chain doesn’t have any available listed in any of their stores. The more I shoot mine, the more I consider retiring my M96 and carrying the M9 on duty. Good luck in your search. Might be some on sites like gunbroker.

You should take a look at the SAR arms k2 .45 It is a licensed CZ copy handgun... SAR is Turkish made, but they're building a factory in the US... They usually go for about $425. the quality is on par with sig Sauer... But at half the price. Unbelievably accurate, and just dead solid reliable..

i got the regular taurus g3, and compared to other guns i have owned, the colt 1911, my ruger sp101, both my pietta 1851 and remmington 1858, it is by far the most comfortable gun i've got to hold, it's not too heavy, doesn't feel too light, i can't speak for shooting it as i've not had the opportunity yet, but the guy i bought it off of said it shoots smooth as silk, and he's not one to exaggerate either, i've known him a long time and he's got a bad wrist so if it didn't bother him, it's likely a nice gun

I recently went to a gunshow, the first since this pandemic, to get 9mm snap caps for my G19x and Hellcat. I went with a friend to buy their first gun. Nothing he wanted was available, no G3's, not 1 glock in the building, but there were several Sar9 9mm for $370. Needless to say we both purchased one, his with the manual safety, mine without. After a range visit, we both were very impressed how this fast, flat shooter handled 147gr +p+ like it was designed for it.

Nice comparison and several of the guns could have made it to number 1. How a gun fits your hand should be given more consideration. What I found made the most difference to me as I have compared some of these side by side is how well each gun feels in my hands and if it points to the target easily and naturally. My glove size is large and I found the larger frame guns tend to be more comfortable and accurate in my hands. For a compact carry, the Glock 43x grip fits quite nicely. However, my girlfriend and a friend of mine both have smaller hands find that the Sig P365 is much more comfortable in their hands. While we can train and learn to shoot anything, it is best to use a gun that fits you best and is a good match for your hand size.

Px4 Compact, while I probably would never carry it, is by far the most accurate out of the box 9mm I have ever fired. The gun runs amazingly, shoots flat, I could not believe the groups I got the first time I picked it up.

@@bruce5168 I found that on my FNS-9 in a couple of weeks the texture had moderated through normal wear and tear such as pulling it in and out of the console etc. and I didn't have to do anything but use the pistol and the sharp pyramids blunted off quite quickly.

I regret selling mine. Very accurate and soft shooting gun. Only had 600 rds through it, not one issue. Only thing I did not like was the trigger was gritty even after the 600 rds. I know people said it should have gone away after 200-500 rds mine never did. Enjoy yours.

I bought a canik tp9sa and put over a 1000 rounds through it without ever cleaning it or oiling it and only had one fte In the first mag, which was hollow points. tan Finish held up amazingly well also. I'm hard on guns, and finishes especially. By far my favorite out of any gun I've owned or shot. Highly recommend. Best 350 bucks I've ever spend.

I work at a gun store and pre-pandemic, we sold the P365 for $459 and the FNS-9c for $399. I know that's not the FN from the list, but it's a close cousin. Even now, we sell the P365 for $499.

I think 1911's are cool and the service record speaks for itself. The main issue I've had with every 1911 I've handled is the slde catch. Considering the location in relation to the grips, it's ridiculously tiny. I'm sure you can find larger or more aggressive catches, but it would be nice to have a from-the-box 1911 with a good slide catch.

That Rock Island 1911 can now be bought at Rural King for $399. It’s my edc. Approaching 6000 rounds, and she’s failed a dozen times. I chalk those failures up to operator error and a few “too wide” mouth hollow points. A bit of polishing fixed the hollow point issue.
