Nijimura Shuzo, was the first captain of Teiko Basketball Club. He captained Akashi, Aomine, Midorima and Murasakibara whilst they were first years. He also was considered the best PF in the compe but moved to America and quit because his Dad was sick and had to get treatment. So technically, he was the best at that moment in time.

They put Kise as number 2 because yes when he is in zone + perfect copy, he can mimic every GOM ability and is quite easily the best player in the court, he can only do it for 5 minutes and then has to get benched because his body can’t handle it. Akashi can use his overpowered ability throughout all four quarters without getting tired, putting him at number 1.

Akashi can also elevate players into the zone even if they aren't GOM level, meaning any team with him on it is elevated nearly the same amount as Kuroko. Which is insane because that's everything Kuroko stands for. Also the most broken thing Akashi can do is just dunk, the dude has hops.

Not even close Akashi does have the full emperor eye He got defeated by kagami because he could only see one man future at the time soo he could never predict where koroko would go behind kagami But after the movie it is different akashi elevated his eye power even beyond bayron eye who could already predict the future of the hole court So now he can see the future of everyone at the time have zone and can put anyone in his team at their best condition Let alone no one ever the the show did have such stamina as him he played the hole game and after he lost he was like at full stamina still If akashi after the movie face the hole generation team he might really win Because who's gonna stop him if he can see everyone future at the time predict it have zone that goes the hole game without losing stamina And put all the team in a zone

Most of them are over 6 feet and 16 so they are still growing. Akashi is 5’8, Kise is 6’2, Aomine is 6’4, Murasakibara is 6’10, Jason Silver is almost 7 feet, Midorima is 6’5, kagami is 6’3

Captain Nijimura was stronger than the miracles before their "awakening" and gave up basketball, so I doubt he can compare now. But they all still respect him, so I have no issue him taking the 0 spot as an honorable mention. I like Kise a lot (my second favorite character) but I dunno if 1 min of perfect copy zone is enough to put him above Nash. In addition, his perfect copy is not as good as the original at each individual thing. I would maybe rank Nash 2 and Aomine 3. Also don't think Kuroko should be in the top 10.

Yes, he just induces the movement. Its a great ability but not same as Akashi. Also, Kise never used it defensively, only to ankle break, so he cant predict someone.

Ippo was a great story until the Tarzan (guy touches the mat 50 times per mach and stretches the ropes that wouldnt slide irl) and that brainless american coach who only relies on his boxers being talented and uses this as are reason to not train them at all. So yes, while knb is unrealistic at least their realism didnt drastically change mid manga.

Aomine himself said speed doesn't work against emperor eye (being fast doesn't matter if you're being predicted) and in their official character hexagon stats, Aomine and Akashi's speed metric is the same, while Kise's speed is less, and Aomine's stamina is less. All things that can be worked on in the future, but as of the story, these are the facts.

Sorry but ur wrong because after the movie, akashi became the strongest and number 1. In the last game movie, Nash beats the Generation of Miracles (GoM) many times with his Belial Eye. Even Akashi's Emperor Eye can't keep up, but that's not because it's inferior; it's incomplete due to Akashi's split personality. However, when Akashi gets his complete Emperor Eye, he gains a power equal to or rather greater than Nash. Don't forget he also has a zone.
