The Walking Dead: saints and sinners. That is THE GAME for PSVR. It is the most complete game by far in VR (on ps4). The inmersive sensation, the interaction with the environment and with your gear (you have to reload your weapons manually, use 2 hands with big weapons, grab your flashlight and turn it on). And it is actually a game, not a experiment. But yeah, the list is very much everything in PSVR, until this game came out :)

Walking Dead S&S is a great game, and I did finish it on PSVR, but it is one of those PC-PS4 VR games that show the limitations harshly on PSVR. I struggled many times with the move controllers and debraining zombies usually worked, but it had many times that things just didn't work and caused me to get pulled out of the experience. Part of my wishes I waited until my PC was done at the time and play it with my now preferred Quest+Link setup.

Dalton2K5 that could be to do with your setup and not the game as I never had a single issue with this game and I’ve put multiple hours in. I totally agree with mrphillip, TWD: S&S is what PSVR should be... I doubt until the PS5 is released and possibly another gen of PSVR we will get a game with better controls, physics and gameplay.

You have to try blood and truth if you like FPS. It's one of my top 3 easy. Astro Bot, Rush of Blood, Blood and Truth, RE7, Superhot, Ghost Giant (which is very similar to Astro Bot), the simulator games (job and vacation), Shooty Fruity and Fruit Ninja. Weird that I see a pattern now. If you get any of those you wont be disappointed. Great time to get games now because they are all cheap.

I tried VR only once, back in 2016 when oculus was a new thing, but I only played a simple puzzle game. I guess I just need to try it again before buying it.

RE7 in VR is truly terrifying. I’m a huge fan of horror games but I had to take many breaks during play through due to sheer terror. Also, The Persistence is great. Don’t let the retro looks get you down - it’s very good

Re7 has really grainy graphics btw so yea but with a full vr box u get re7 skyrim vrworlds and 2 more games for free so yee idk i got ti this week and its so good yeyeyeyehe but in the dark theme the grainyness kinds goes away and the grainyness kinda adds to the athsctetic (dunno if i spelt that right) yaknow

The game doesn't look great on the base PS4. At least in terms of the draw distance. Enemies can be invisible at times but still be firing arrows at you if they are far enough away. Not sure if this is a problem on the Pro but I really hope it is solved with the power of the PS5. 😀👍

I was more bothered by the Tetris Effect to be honest! Sure, you have to see how it looks so they can't do moves at the speed of light, but come on, that slow and even putting the blocks in strange places... x)

I feel totally the same. At 30 years old, while playing the 3rd level in astrobot, the one with the mushroom cave, from the soundtrack and the experience of vr, I had a moment where I started tearing up. I had completely forgotten how it felt to be truly amazed by a game. I hadn’t felt that way since I was 8 and first got my n64. It’s been 6 months now and I’m still playing it almost daily

Great selection! Dreams VR is definitely my best VR game because of it's content. It's endless creator content which produces a variety of new games everyday. I played a user created Sonic the Hedgehog that was so fun. It's Mindcraft/Roblox/Project Spark of VR but within it's own right!

It would be interesting to have a real time hostage rescue game in which the player can assume the identities of any of the police on scene, or jump from one to the other. You could work as the hostage negotiator, then hop into the avatar of SWAT team leader and carry out the assault - all in real time so the gameplay session could potentially extend into multiple hours of managing and ending the event.

SUPERHOT VR is so good, it ruined the flat screen game for me... it just can't compare in 2D. Also, Astrobot Rescue Mission isn't just the best VR game i've ever played, it's one of the best games i've ever played in any format, ever. It is several hours of pure, uncut weapons-grade JOY. i cannot play it without constantly grinning like the village idiot :)

Astro bot is a masterpiece. It’s so much fun and the world is beautiful. The whole family have played it and every single one of them absolutely loves it. Rush of blood is a lot of fun and very creepy. Firewall zero hour is an outstanding experience. Its like rainbow six siege but in VR. The tension you feel playing the game is immense and it really helps to communicate with the other players on your team as it can very tactical at times.

Moss The Persistence To The Top Job & Vacation Simulator These are the only other games i have played that are not on the list and i have really enjoyed, Borderlands 2 vr could be an option if you like borderlands, however for a person who never get motion sick. I got quite i bit woozy when driving around and jumping.

Really depends on your taste in games but a few I enjoyed that weren't listed here are: Rush of Blood Thumper Transference Skyrim VR Drunkn Bar Fight Dirt Rally VR Creed: Rise to Glory Bonfire Tethered Some of these games may not be as gamey an experience you're looking for so I suggest looking into them before purchasing any.

I've played and enjoyed every game on this list except Headmaster and Resident Evil 7. I already own RE7 (just haven't worked up the nerve to play it yet), and will be downloading Headmaster. Worth mentioning, the newly released Iron Man VR and Walking Dead Saints and Sinners a month or so before that were both stand-out PSVR titles in recent memory. Moss is another that I always remember to recommend anytime anyone asks for suggestions for PSVR.

Nice list, and great to see a few of the smaller titles getting some love. For me though Wipeout is another must have. It was nice enough to see them release an update making the whole game vr compatible, but having it look and play do much better than many of the vr specific titles is a miracle. Just hoping that Star Wars Squadrons lives up to its potential.

One game I found both charming and brilliant was Ghost Giant. It’s a very sweet storybook narrative with a pleasing gameplay loop. Also Trover Saves the Universe is just an absolute riot and I highly recommend it.

My favorite PSVR game is “The Room,” because a) it’s good and b) I can actually play it. I love “Astrobot,“ “Moss,” and “Tetris Effect,” but I can’t play them in VR (or at all, if VR’s the only mode). The headaches and the nausea just overwhelms me too much and makes it too unpleasant to play.

I would also recommend Iron Man VR. I'm 7 chapters in currently and it's been great. Once you get used to the flying mechanics and don't yeet yourself half way across the map really fast by accident and make yourself sick.

Did you use the motion controls or dual shock 4 on Skyrim? I really wasn't impressed with it when I'm hitting guards who are a foot off my weapon

kaiser 1845 using the MOVE controllers was a total gamechanger for me. The game gets SO much more immersive with it. I use free roaming and snap to turn, it a fantastic balance and the elaborate controls really grow on you after many hours of play :) I totally agree with you, using the joypad is not cool. Give it a go with the move controllers!

Hellcore Fire The PSVR 2 will most likely be released about 1 year after the PS5 release with new move controllers. Probably around october, november 2021. It’s gonna be interesting to see if my original PSVR will run my current library of psvr games at higher settings on the PS5. Hopefully it’s gonna improve a bit

This list contained games that mostly came out very early during the PSVR’s life cycles. There are some great ones on there now. Like walking dead:saints and sinners, Gorn, pixel ripped 1989, Golem, space pirate trainer, iron man VR, and so much more. There are some good ones on this list but there a lot more really good ones out there that out rank some of these.

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, Rush of Blood, The Persistence and Farpoint deserve to be in any top 10 PSVR games list. I’d take out Headmaster, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, Super hot and Firewall: Zero Hour for those personally. They’re great games as well just not top 10 worthy

To be honest, the best vr game (in my opinion) is Rick And Morty Virtual Rick-ality. I also enjoyed Iron-Man VR.

NOT watched video yet. Paused and just glad that you have PSVR access. I have some for you if missed and also games played better with VR.. erm.. Trust me and my ProVR. Sold Physical games and bought PSN versions at a slight loss as I don't like disc games due to getting damaged. One disc game owned due to you and Hollie.. Dragon Age Inquisition.. Played on PS3 before but video made me buy it again.. lol .. Thanks for the mamories, hehe. Will chat later.. doing hoovering for neighbour, Hallway and then my room.

I had the physical version of astrobot vr but then the disc stoped working and I am really sad since I was almost beating the game :(

I recommend the Exorcist Legion VR, that game was horrifying. Me and some buddies got together to play it and it was a blast. Definitely one of the scariest VR games out there

VR needs to be at least 8k and the next gen consoles apparently support 8k so I'm hopeful

What about Farpoint? Borderlands 2? Skyrim? Trover Saves the Universe? Iron Man? Rush of Blood? Who put this list together? Those other games were good, too, tho. But these needed to be on the list also
