For your question about the criteria of reciters, there is some rulings the reciter must abide by it like breathing and breaking also recite fluently beside of course beautiful voice. Good list, but it's definitely subjective! Afasy, Abdul Basit, and Al Minshawi are absolute legends, no doubt. But the rest really comes down to personal preference. There are so many amazing reciters out there, it's hard to narrow it down to just 10!

The reciter you said appeals to children funny enough my baby nephew is named after and loves him. Shaykh Sudais is his name and his twin brother is named Shaykh Mishary Alfasy the other Quran reciter that was muted.
