I bought the alpinestars helmet for general riding. The visor doesn't touch the top seal when it's closed. There's no way it would be water tight

I think your ventilation test is a bit flawed. Firstly, you have a big ass touring windscreen on the bike you’re testing on. Secondly, i have personally ridden in helmets that flow lot’s of air through chin vents but still not remove moisture from the visor, or helmers that are stuffy in the face area and leave you with a cold spot on the top of your head from the top vent. Just measurimg temp in the helmet in one spot doesn’t really say anything.

You never test Shark MotoGP.helmets which tells me your biased against them. Ive used Shark helnets since 2007 as a test rider for Suzuki motorcycles and as long as you use the correct ear plugs. Their much better than their competitors because they are custom built to your specifications

Nonsense, Shark is absolutely crap. Two helmet sizes with a ridicilous price for their "top helmet". I've had a race-r pro which was absolutely crap.
