The mouthwash relic 2x damage boost applies to your character while you are holding the toothpick, so you can boost other weapons when playing salvador. It's an alternate dps option to the off hand lady fist, kind of like the orc is

The best allegiance relics are ones that boost tediore mag size for massive chuck damage. While a case can be made for Jacob’s and torgue relics I don’t think any besides tediore relics are really worth using over a bone

Either a protection relic or the Skin of the Ancients. The latter will give you some elemental resistance and decreased shield recharge delay.

Level 30- I'm using one that gives close to 20% ffyl time and 80% health. Had one that said 125% health upon second wind and another that said 23% ffyl time. I ditched those in favor of the one that does both.

That gun is called the SandHawk. As for a solid one that shoots corrosive homing rounds- that would be, The Dahlminator (found in Caustic Caverns). Relatively good damage output paired with solid fire rate, clip size and accuracy.

It's just annoying that you have to slag to do damage so you're made to do one of three things constantly, put skill points into a specific skills to slag/increase slag chance, swap weapons or use a slag grenade. It restricted the way you played by making you choose certain options
