Some cool games, yet not a single roguelike :) Although there as plenty available. As an iOS gamer, I invite you to play Rogue Touch, Hollows of Rogue, iNetHack2, iBrogueCE (iPad only), Mines of Moria, Pathos: Nethack Codex, Gnollhack, or Shattered Pixel Dungeon, among others. The games listed in this video are games with a few roguelike mechanics, better called roguelites. Most feature extensive meta-progression, which usually is a big no no in roguelikes, where your first run offers the same chance of winning as your 500th, with only your knowledge about the game and your skill improving. Meta-progression is a carrot on a stick mechanic rendering your first hours of gameplay absolutely meaningless. But I know, I‘m an old fart trying to keep a genre name relevant that‘s currently being used for almost any game, because marketing.
