My favourite lanch on a coaster is Stealth at Thorpe Park. I love the intensity

Stealth at Thorpe park initially had the same launch as xccelerator at KBF however they increased the acceleration from 0-80 in 2.3s to 1.9s making it even more powerful and my favourite launch even over formula rossa and TTD

It’s apparently actually 0-83mph to account for weight distribution (because it kept rolling back at 0-80). But its still considered 80 miles per hour because unless the train is empty and you ride at the right time of day, it normally doesn’t go above 80.

Storm Runner at Hershey park is my ALL TIME favorite coaster that I have ever been on!!! It is not just a launch, then it is over, it is a FULL roller coaster of amazing fun! I could go there and just ride that the entire time and leave happy! Went to Knott's Berry Farm November 17th and the Xcelerator had just reopened and WHAT A RIDE!!!

If you like stormrunner, you neeeeed to ride stealth at thorpe park - uk. Another hydraulic launch, but 0-80mph in 1.8 seconds, thars faster than stormrunners launch, and in less time.

In no particular order some of the coasters I've experienced with the best launch are: XCelerator Top Thrill Dragster Kingda Ka Maxx Force Taron (Second Launch) Karacho Sandy's Blasting Bronco- I agree with you on this one. Not talked about enough. Storm Runner F.L.Y.- Something about that launch on a flying coaster Velocicoaster (Second Launch) And this is excluding Toutatis and Pantheon based on your reasoning.

Solid Video! My Number #1 launch is a second launch, Maverick. When that train hit the tunnel, I was like, this was a fun ride, not remembering that there was a hard-hitting second launch. Maverick hits hard bro.

The launch on Top Thrill Dragster is easily my favorite. Some of my other favorites include the ones on Cheetah Hunt at Busch Gardens Tampa, Maxx Force at Six Flags Great America, Full Throttle at Six Flags Magic Mountain, Xcelerator at Knott's Berry Farm, the second launch on Maverick at Cedar Point, and the former launch on Lightning Rod at Dollywood.

Went to Cedar Point (was living in Pittsburgh at the time) the summer Top Thrill Dragster opened back in 2003 I think it was. It was closed ALL day, I was praying it opened. Well it finally opened but not till 7:30pm! I give Cedar Point Credit for getting it open that day. Many other parks would probably have just said screw it and waited till the next day. Got two rides on it. My adrenaline was pumping for the whole ride back to Pittsburgh.

For me my favorite launch is probably Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure at Universal Islands Of Adventure. Not the punchiest launch ever but in my opinion, the forces you feel on your body are amazing.

My favorite launch is the one on Formula Rossa and it’s not even close. It’s currently even my favorite element on any coaster

Form my experience, I preferred Sandy's Blasting Bronco to TMT Shellraiser, but I was late, (due to an unexpected PVR test in May of 2022 flying from Vancouver) so I was tired, and only rode it once in the front, not knowing it's smoother in the back, (which I usually prefer, but only due to multi car trains which TMT Shellraiser doesn't use). However: neither of them reach my top 30 out of the over 160 coasters I've ridden. Then again: neither do Exelerator or Stealth; the latter having the fastest rate of acceleration on any hydraulic launch coaster. But the former is better than Stealth, due to lap bar restraints instead of OTSRs and a more full layout, and thankfully, (and more importantly) is now working again. Max Force also doesn't reach my top 30 but its launch is better, and also makes me wonder what Do-Dodonpa's launch feels (or felt) like. Kinda Ka is literally my top 30th coaster I've ridden, and I think TTD barely cracks my top 20. That's because I only rode TTD in the back cars and only three times, and although I never rode it in the front (unlike Kinda Ka which I rode in both the back and front) I know it's better than K.K. since the back of Kinda Ka SUCKS. The only issue with TTD's launch was that the split second it was over, riders were still on straight track which somehow made it feel as though the train was starting to slow down (which it technically was, but it shouldn't have been noticeable. Perhaps that can be accounted for because the launch was SO GOOD, we were suffering launch withdrawal the millisecond it ended). I didn't have that problem on Kingda Ka. I guess that means that TTD's launch has better overall pacing than Kinda Ka's, but that launch is so perfectly and smoothly even it's not as easy to notice (kinda like Max Force's launch being both extreme and also perfectly and smoothly even during its short duration, only with a lower (albeit still very high) rate of acceleration, but more duration). But although I prefer TTD to KK: I actually prefer KK's launch. But I overall agree with this listing. Although I prefer drops on coasters to launches: I think I agree with this list even more than your favourite drops. But I feel I can relate to this list more since; from this list I've ridden the top four on your list (as well as Sandy's Blasting Bronco) with your favourite (TTD) being the 1st coaster I've ridden on this list in late May 2018. When I arrived for my multi day visit to Cedar Point then: my coaster credit count at the time (excluding kiddie coasters I rode in the 70s CAN'T remember) 18, which then immediately doubled at that park alone. I am going to Europe in 2025 and I don’t know which park to go to. My parents are letting me go to 2 parks for the whole trip and I don’t know which one to go to and I’m going to Spain, France and England which ones do you recommend?

Hey there! I’d say PortAventura & Ferrari Land is a must. You can do both in one day, but make sure you have their skip the line system. I’d also highly suggest visiting Parc Astérix in France, it’s an amazing park. If you can try and push them to include a third, Parque Warner Madrid is home to Batman Gotham City Escape, which would be the best roller coaster you ride across the three parks :)

If I made this list, Wicked at Lagoon would ABSOLUTELY make this list solely because of its vertical launch. Edit: There is one coaster which is way faster at 150mph (rounded up,) and that is Formula Rossa at Ferrari World.
