Pre Patch Fibber ? The Fibber was never patched. Also Shotguns are weaker then other Weapons because their damage gets split up between the Bullets they shoot, Conference call works because all the sideways split bullets are not counted, thus getting the full Bee boost.

first off that build you just stated is shit compared to maya with a blurred trickster and a pimpernel for mobbing the only case where a sandhawk beats the pimpernel is with raiding, magic missile is worse than the quasar and other grenades and the cat mod does not apply to the bee shield, also beehawking for mobbing is terrible because you will constantly get overwhelmed because you have to switch to the grog all the time to survive

3:46 : Krieg is awful with Roid Shields, because of Silence the Voices. The Rough Rider may be its best option for melee, and a great option (the best imo) for Hellborn. Also, the Rough Rider is MADE for Krieg since he gets a lot of boosts by having his shield depleted OR taking damage directly on health. Great video anyways :D

Mr Puma Gaming you forget one crucial thing you see the rough rider to a Melee krieg is actually really good since you get a higher base health and you get the dmg resistance meaning your skill wich heals you fully if below 30% and since u got higher health meaning your not gonna be deringly close to fight for your life when u proc it the higher health u got on higher dificulty puts u in a more beneficial situation compared to a roid shield. (Yes i do know that roid shields might be better but with the right skills the ROugh rider is more beneficial) :D

Krieg is the one who benefits the most from rough rider. Roid shields apply the roid damage to himself if he gets the self hit from silence the voices, so a full melee build for krieg does NOT want a roid shield. On top of that, one of Kriegs earliest skills gives him a bonus melee dmg boost, which is increased if he doesn't have a shield or of his shield is down.

Very late but Puma hates adaptive shields like most other players hate roid shields. I agree that there should be a place on the top 10 list for the Evolution which can be acquired on uvhm by beating Hyperius the Invincilble or on TVHM by purchasing from the Oasis Seraph vendor.

my personal top would be: 10. white turtle shield. for extreme healgate builds, really funny but of cause you sacrifise some damage with... 9. the bee, yeah the bee ! its a weapon not a shield and as a shield it really suck the most ridiculus source of damage healthgate you directly. really usefull against raid 8. flame of the Firehawk, kind of a niche shield for krieg but a really good one, although maya can make great use of it. 7. Hide of terra, the best roid shield in the game and the best roid option for zero. really good on deathtrap. 6.neo/evolution I just happen to love them, I remember first time a beat the dragon a was wearing those, as Maya, took me a hell lot of time but I almost didn't take critical damage 5. rough rider. best roid option for krieg, a lot of great uses with the other characters, and its always fun to watch a 10+ teen raging online because he is dying as banshee Maya. 4. big boom, really usefull shield if playing grenade/fastball axton plus it as a high capacity and recharge rate 3. the sham. even though I don't like the shamefleeting morons polluting matchmackings no-one can deny that it may very well be the best shiel in the vanilla game (for bullet area of cause, if you're wearing thise against a rabid ennemy you're dead) 2. antagoniste. bullet reflection, damage reduction (only on bullet), damage increase up tu 880%on deflected bullet, and throw slag at attackers, really good cap/rate/delay do I relly need to explain why its a must have ? 1. blockade. 32% flat damage resistance on your shield and your health, yeah its hard to get but when you'll have it you'll be able to see a rabid wathever and take 3 or 4hit before he can break your shield and then tank 3 or 4 more hit before he can see you down, tank launcher enemy while having a good laugh, nova's like vorac/hyperyus will be nothing against your mightyness, Pyropete nova's if taken will take forever to kill you, the healthgate will become a long and distant memory that you will remember only when switching for the bee to fight an invincible

I think the bee is overrated. Not specifically on this list, but in general. It can be a bad choice for mobbing because it has no defensive perks, aside from a fast recharge rate. You're udually much better off with a smart build and something like an antagonist or blockade. Or the sham, I guess, though I don't like the sham either...

I agree. The Bee is only about good through Normal Mode to True Vault Hunter Mode. Then, basically Slag replaces it in Ultimate Vault Hunter - OP8 mode. I still use it however, because the damage boosts can get huge and Slag + Bee Shield is pretty badass.

dude, roid sheilds are horrible for kreig. either you're not using melee at all, and on dedicated melee builds for kreig you risk the chance of hitting yourself with a roid boosted silence the voices.

Scrapyard Dragon If you die from a roided silence the voices, you built your character wrong,end of story, my Krieg can hit himself multiple times and not die, especially if I'm on fire, which I likely will be. 50% less damage from bloodlust+50% less damage from numbed nerves make silence the voices trivial, and if you have a class mod that benefits STV, you have a +700%(+) melee damage and a 12% chance to hit yourself, I'm no gambling man, but I like those odds

I got a level 54 bee shield from the leviathan's chests yesterday. If you can glitch it to get past the treasure room door maybe it is worth it. Also i got a legendary hunter class mod for Zer0

For me personally the Blockade is the best defensive shield in the game. The Antagonist is also cool, though you have to watch not to get slagged if you take cover. The rough rider, the sham, the bee and the hide of terra for certain situations...

The rough rider is one of the best invincible Krieg shields though, with his potentially constant 75% damage resistance; the rough rider will both roid his ridiculous health, and raise that to a constant 80%; which again is considering he is always on fire and is mutating all the time. A few Adaptive shields and flame of the firehawk are other invincible Krieg shields as well

The thing I don´t really like about roid shields is that they basically are the opposite of what you want to have as Zer0 who is one of only 2 melee characters in the game. He is just extremely squishy, is one of the only characters to never get a constant health regen effect from a skill(apart from innervate but that is only active while you are in deception which happens to be a skill that does only last 5 seconds and only can be prolonged with many must fall which is extremely hard to pull off at higher difficulties) and he also doesn´t get any damage resistance. There is only one skill that kicks in when his shield has run out and this skill again doesn´t benefit melee builds(it only boosts gun damage and rate of fire and no, it isn´t powerfull enough to justify using the rough rider). Zer0 would actually benefit a lot more if roid shields worked like amp shields, so they boost melee when they are fully charged rather than depleted. His melee kit is mostly about taking down the target in one strike and since one of his skills actually provides improved shields recharge rate upon killing any enemy(it is a mandatory skill anyways because it also provides improved action skill cooldown rate which is vital for most Zer0 builds) it would make for a really good synergy. Considering that Krieg, who synergizes a lot better with roid shields is a DLC character and wasn´t avalable when the game got released at first you´ve really gotta wonder what the devs were thinking when designing roid shields. On the other hand, you don´t need roid shields until TVHM where the entire scaling messes up your melee damage and so they probably didn´t even think about roid shields being a main damage source but rather as some kind of utility tool if you get swarmed by skags for example.

I had an awsom shield that had an insainly fast recharge delay, and speed. With my siren build i could stand infront of a psyco hed hit me, and by the next hit my shield would be fully charged. Of course this was during my first playthrough, and it only had a capacity of 210. I used it up to the bunker

Damn, Hellborn Kreig looks like a lot of fun. I tried playing melee Kreig and got to about level 20 before I gave up out of frustration. Maybe I'll respec, re-gear, and give it another shot.

The only real downside to using a rough rider on salvador is that if you want the benefits of it. You can never use titan or raider class mods. Since they reduce shield capacity if they are equipped it actually breaks the shield and the game acts like you don’t have one equipped, making skills benefiting from an empty shield useless. I’m just lucky i was able to find a better class mod I could benefit from.

With the rough rider don't use axton one of my favorite skills is the abilith to regen heatlh with a full sheild

Gaige and Tortoise are great. Only go to OP7 with the shield, use the Slayer of Terra mod to have some health. For some reason you cannot use relics that give you extra health as you always end up in 1 health and get killed instantly. Also: Never put any skill point in Potent as a Pony. That one sucks with Tortoise.

Got 2 Bee shields in Forrest from the sane tree near the dice chest. All in a week on-and-off. 1st was 6-10 serious attempts then the 2nd bee came from a casual, I wonder what my chances of getting 1 more are. I think I'll out one on ZerO and the other on Maya perhaps. I got sham off Bunker boy too. 85% and don't know who needs it out of the characters. I can't be bothered building them all up. I focus on 1 and have 2 In the wings. But grinding one character to help the others is the annoying part. But I learned that storing higher levelled gear does help as the lvl comes down. I think only on a new post through on higher lvl. My friend gave me 80 levelled guns and when I got to 30 they came down to my lvl.
