Really wish Lalique would make more flankers of Hommage a l'Homme. They could take that dna in so many directions. Same with GIT. Although methinks there might already be a GIT flanker in the works. Wouldn't surprise me in the least.

GIT flanker makes sense with the direction the brand and niche in general has been moving! Would love to see that! Love the newest OG batches so totally behind the DNA! And totally agree, about Lalique! A shame they are discontinuing this one!

These aren't recommended but were just my signature scents through the years. YSL Pour Homme, I wore for years until I couldn't get it anymore. Replaced by Gucci Pour Homme, the 1976 original. Then Hermes Equipage, I believe the Gucci and Equipage were both created by Guy Robert. I then wore Armani Eau Pour Homme for about 10 years until, again, it was discontinued. I then discovered Basenotes and started wearing L'Instant de Guerlain and vintage Habit Rouge until I started collecting. Luckily, I have backstock of all except the Armani. Which I've replaced by Eau Sauvage. But if I was to pick just one signature right now and wear nothing else, I think it'd be Prada L'Homme. I love it!

I'll take those as recommendations for sure! A lot were around before I started getting into the hobby so would for sure be some I'd like to visit! But Eau Sauvage and Prada L'Homme I think are two greats! Eau Sauvage being one of my favorites I should/could have easily mentioned here and Prada L'Homme is my wife's favorite on me to added bonus there! Thanks for sharing as always!

I really vibe with your taste in fragrances, Trevor. Good picks. I have to say, though, the way you pronounce Hommage A L’Homme (like Hommage A LA L’Homme) actually throws me off sometimes. I had to check and see it that was a flanker. 😂

Came across your channel looking for Copal Azur. I smelled it when a friend gave me what was left in the same kind of sample you have here. May I ask- where did you get that sample? My friend can't remember where he got his 🤦‍♂️

I blind bought their Signature fragrance ("with tomato leaf note") and they sent an almost full sample set included with the purchase of all the full bottles I've gotten from them afterward. So far I have Copal Azur, Signature, Iris Nazarena, and plan on picking up Cafe Tabac from them this fall/winter! Wore Copal Azur to bed Sunday night actually. Still a personal favorite!

@tzfragrance thanks for the reply. For some reason, I absolutely love Copal Azur. I know it's a somewhat polarizing scent profile, but it's just exquisite to me. I'm likely just going to have to save my coins and buy a bottle. My hesitation has been because it seems to fade on me after only a couple of hours. But, I might be going agnostic to it. What kind of performance do you get?
