So here's my list in no particular order..... -Geostorm - Gerard Butler in space saving planet earth it's worth a watch. -The Grey - Liam Neeson and wolves even tho wolves don't attack humans the ending leaves you like wtf. -I Am Legend - If you haven't seen it watch it now, do it now! -Cast Away - Same if you haven't seen it do it. -Rambo First blood - Pretty dam good for an old movie and he uses survival skills in the forest hiding from cops. -Apollo 13 - Another good space survival movie. -Gravity - Good but camera spins a bunch still really dam good tho. -Rescue Dawn - Another fav movie Christain Bale's plane gets shot down and he must escape a prison camp. -Arctic - Is a really good one like really good check out the trailer i'm lazy lol -Jungle - Hairy potter almost dies in the jungle it's a good one. -The Call of the Wild - Harrison Ford and a CGI dog don't knock it till you watch it. Really good one. - The Martian - Matt Damon gets stuck on mars. - Moon - Pretty dam good mind fu#% of a movie. Again check out the trailer on this one. There are so much more movies but this is what i got off the top of my head.

You should also check out Jungle (2017). Don't know why this film didn't get the much recognition it deserved. Another one is not exactly a life or death situation kind of survival movie, but Wild (2014) is one of my all time favourites. I also recommend The Pianist (2002) where the protagonist tries to fight for survival during WWII. A must see movie. Adrift (2018) isn't that bad but isn't that excellent either. Story comes with a twist I didn't see coming.
