ring bases works for root riders, because they have to do the same like the hogs: trying to hit the defenses. so if you have a layout to separate the root riders and avoid them to hit your core defenses, you win.

ringed bases. the point of use root riders is they can break walls like nothing and get to the core faster. if you use layouts designed for drags or hogs, you can make it more difficult for the roots to be viable, as they will go around the base following the trash defenses instead of going to the core. but do not make mistake: no base is safe from the 3 stars. even the best layout can be 3 stars. it's everything about skill. but sometimes you'll find no brained people who only spam the army and nothing else.

Lemme give you newbies free advice No base is a good base ... These videos about bases ran by some top players are all stupid Fact is every legend league day you get hit 8 times .. there are chances that 1/8 of the attackers will copy your base and ones the base gets common everyone ll know how to 3 start it especially since the update where u can attack your own base In short u need to change your base every 4 - 5 days according to the meta .. Remember the annoying 2 invi bases ? Keep one of those for a league day and u'll be getting a -320 The current meta is revolving around the rage tower with multi archer & inferno tower bases ... Soon those will get common and u know the rest... Ask players like me on the 5900 trophies.... We get -320 and do +320 every single day Those new bases that the top players discover get common so fast u won't believe it ... So instead of watching these videos try to keep up with what's going in the game ... Ever see base u couldn't 3 star just take a screenshot copy it ,put it as ur league day base and test it U can also challenge ur self until u can 3 star it
