I have the air venturi avenger in 22 cal which I upgraded by putting thermador barrel harmonic reducer and two additional barrel bands on which turned it into a tack driver at 50 yards . I highly recommend this pcp rifle .

I have been into air rifles for about 40 years, I started with basic Crossman 10 pump guns then moved up to break barrel rifles, my favorite was my Beaman R1 in 20 Cal and I bought my fresh PCP about two and a half years ago, In my opinion that underlever design is just stupid, use a bolt action or a lever the under lever is just dumb especially if you're shooting from the bench or a bag, you have to lift up the gun to Cock it, or if you're hunting and you need a follow-up shot you have to come off the target, It doesn't make any sense to me ,I think they were trying to be unique but do something else not that, definitely the best gun on this list is the Avenger with the breaker silent being a close second

Starts off strong with some really good rifles then sort of bumbles along with some that don't really belong in the same league until it finally gets back on track with the last choice which, while crazy inexpensive, is actually a very good rifle for the money. The middle could go away but the beginning couple and end are solid choices.

I have been studying PCP air rifles for quite a while now wanting to get one but my biggest problem is to get one that’s even remotely decent you are spending $1500-$2000 then another thousand dollars just for the equipment to shoot it and still have to buy The accessories to make it the way you want it I can buy five burners for that. It’s just a sport that is out of my financial bracket although I own several brake barrel air rifles and enjoy it very much but to spin $500 for a gun that is going to cost twice that to be able to shoot it and still only be on a entry level just not for me

That's a fantastic gun I have a 22 cal flash with the Wood stock I love that gun it's very accurate I like it so much I ended up buying the Flash synthetic Bullpup in 25 another great gun super accurate they like the jsb exact heavy in both calibers and also jsb Hades in both calibers

I have the Aspen and the Kral both in .25 cal both great guns...but the Kral is exceptional on air...last time on the range I put 132 rounds on one fill on low power and still had some green on the meter... very accurate and lightweight, well balanced, easy to handle.

Thanks for clarifying the rounds. I was liking that gun heaps until the video said 2 to 3 magazines before repumping, which seemed absurd. Unfortunately it is probably not available where I am.

If you like the springers and are new check out the Gamo arrow, pyramid air has a package deal arrow/ with hand pump for $300. Gets 40+ shots per fill pushing 14.3 @ 720fps. As an entry level it's perfect.

Why are the QB rifles still using that crap short bolt handle. It's the first thing everyone changes when they get one. Come on guys, Rowan Engineering used to make a brilliant tear drop bolt handle (designed by yours truly 😊) but have now discontinued it. I reckon they need to make a new batch as the demand will be back due to this rifle.
