sinister six is also a really good arena team early on, pretty much every team is defenders so using them to beat those defenders and get high in arena is very nice

@@EmperorAhnald yea my friend started not too long ago and hes been consistently in top 200 since he started so hes doing pretty well with them, swapping to a guardians defense helped him from getting hit by them as well. he has saved up 8000 power cores and refuses to spend them, wants to save for something big i guess

Great vid! I have my defenders just about to where I need them to completely move on from them and already getting my Guardians half way decent and starting to work on shield. It is awesome to watch videos from someone who is around the same spot as me in the game. I get kinda lost in the other Chanel’s videos cause they are all talking about Ultron and I’m like year, no where near getting him. Keep up the great content!

I can agree 100% about Sin6. They are a really good team for the campaign, solid but lacking a healer and ofc what you said, getting 2 legendaries. Loving the vids so far! :D

S6 is a good team for Villains campaigns. Mordo, Loki, and Yondu are also very good and can be used in villains, cosmic, and Mystic campaigns as well. Kree are also a solid choice since you also need them for Fury.

Great to see you finally in MSF. I would recommend Kree Kree and more Kree minions. Unlocking Nick Furry is vital. And with Coulson coming out Furry will be relevant for even longer.

A good tip tbh is opening blitz orbs rather than buying individual characters. You want the likes of Crossbones, Spiderman, Gamora, Rhino, Kree Royal Guard, Mantis etc so you may as well work on all of them. Not to the mention the fact you get gold which is extremely scarce in MSF

The best advice for any new player, besides going ham on defenders, is to always buy raid orbs with your raid credits. They cost a fraction of the price (900 vs 1500) and provide nearly twice the shards (9 vs 5) of a normal supply purchase. Not only does this let you farm multiple critical toons at once (Rocket, Sabretooth, Oracle, Mysterio, Shield Trooper, War Machine) but you'll end up doing it faster than waiting for that one hero to show up in the supply store. Even veteran players take a while to pick up on this.

@Jack Frost That's exactly the kind of reasonable-sounding but baseless logic that keeps people wasting their raid currency. I've only been playing for a little under 6 months, and it took me 2 months to get smart and start buying orbs. Now, I have *all* of the above toons at 5 * or higher (with the exception of Trooper, that bum). That means that I'm ready to unlock/have unlocked Star Lord, Nick Fury, Magneto, Shuri, and Invisible Woman. All at the same time! The two months I wasted cherry-picking shards for double the price just mean that Sabretooth and Rocket are a full star ahead of everyone else. I suggest you stop theory-crafting and give it a shot. EDIT: you *are* right about Blitz orbs, though. Too much unnecessary junk in there to make them worthwhile.

@Jack Frost Ultron is kind of broken, but that makes sense, being that he's meant to be the end-game prize toon. I don't know much about Coulson (has anyone even unlocked him yet?), the rest are strong, for sure, but very situational. i.e., they're great for one-shot battles in arena (Phoenix, CM), and sometimes war defense (CM), but they don't have the raid sustainability that Minn brings to any team. This from a guy with a 7 RS Captain Marvel. Minnerva does it all. She's a game-changer, like you, yourself, said.

@Jack Frost Yeah, they can! I'm on my 2nd run with my pure defenders team at the moment (all G12, only DD and Cage at 7*). Think it'll get even easier now that we can level 'em to 75. EDIT: Plus 6* G12 Punisher, w/gold passives unlocked on IF and Punisher.

A.I.M counters debuff teams like brotherhood, spider-verse, and mystic and all around a good team but not a early game team more like mid game. You should definitely invest a little in to them for war and blitz

Ahnold, For villains I farmed Kree. Kree has early unlock nodes in Heroes villains and Nexus. They also can defeat villains and part of Nexus. They unlock Nick Fury. My next grind after them is Shield minions. Then Brotherhood.

Elijah Reese for sure man, I’m working on my Defenders at the moment, just got my Punisher and Daredevil to Tier 11 Gear, rest of are at Tier 10, Devil and Luke are 7 stars with 120 shards to go on Jessica and 200 shard for each Ironfist and Punisher :) where’re u at?

Kree are also good. Ronan and Oracle in raid, KRG in blitz, Reaper in heros and korath in villians. They are all also cosmic and the minions help you get Nick fury and they are a good raid team for low level ultimus

only thing I dislike about mysterio ability is 9/10 when you use it on punisher, it does the ability block instead of blind, so you'll find yourself using it more on luke cage to stop the defense up on turn 1

Youll find, and Im sure MG will agree, that a lot of players gear up their characters based on red stars if they at least half way decent. Fact you have a 5rs carnage already is great, definitely can gear him up decently high and feel no regrets, very good pull!

I know people in my endgame alliance that doesn’t even have their Thanos at 4 stars and you are already about to have him, that’s pretty sweet man. Thanos feeding energy to rocket to ULT every turn in raids is insane.

Sinister Six is a really good faction for alliance war defense as well as early game missions but they aren’t as great when it comes to raids plus they don’t have as much sustain or a support character to keep them alive for a long period of time.

Yo there is some flaws in your guide... If you are character collecting it's good but if you are trying to ultimately get to the there is some things you need to do... First of all you started a long time ago I started more closer to where new players are now... Their shard is full of Defenders in Arena you need to zig when they zag... Sinister 6 needs to be your number one focus for two reasons... 1 they get you two Legendaries and they will get you higher in the new Arena for beginners that is filled with Defenders... You can use Mantis to make them Raid Viable and she begins your second stage Gaurdians... You get a strong Sinister 6 you can split your Attention between Gaurdians and Sinister 6 for a while till you flip completely to Guardians... Between these two you can get Nexus Hero and Villians knocked out... You can farm for Starlord... Here is where I really think you went wrong... There is no point in farming Pyro out of the War store... The goal is End Game you should be using that currency to farm Superior Uniques when they pop... It will help you save Gold and while you are Farming for Starlord and waiting for your luck to give you Minn-erva you are getting everything they need to go Gear tier 13 right out of the box... Starlord Minn-erva Groot Rocket and you a good 5th is a real good shot at fear... Get Ultron then you can start collecting for Magneto who is not that important in the overall scheme of things, but by then the orbs will give 5 xmen that is some what close to getting him and your path is paved and it may not even involve farming Pyro to get him... you can turn to him when its convenient.. Just my take and opinion... I am doing it now and it is working out like gang busters... When I get Starlord coming up I will have a BKT with all of the essential orange gear and gear tier 13 mostly 6 star mostly day one of his unlock and I started around the same time you returned to the game... I have well over half of all of their uniques including Shuri and Sue's

Need to stop recommending new players to start with defenders. They don't unlock legendary characters. Start with GOG, shield and kree minions, and sin 6. All unlock legendary. Shield and GOG do great in raids. Kree can handle your villains nodes and cosmic nodes. GOG can do heroes, nexus and cosmic. In a resource management game GOG, shield and kree give you more bang for your effort and resources. Plus GOG and shield have 3 of the top 5 for FTD. Star lord, Groot, and security.

@@EmperorAhnaldI know it's like the marvel dogma but now all of GOG is farmable they weren't at the time of defenders rework, mantis wasn't either in the game yet and definitely not farmable if she was. Also, there's a few counters to defenders like tech teams and sin 6 to name two. What I find is newer players hear defenders defenders defenders and they wind up putting so much into them that it's a waste. Question, Are you using defenders in raids still? Probably at this point you've got into using BKE, getting ready for FTD, etc..for me defenders sits on war defense and a high tier blitz team other then that I barely use them. Were as Groot, rocket, star lord I'm using every day. Just my opinion

i love the kits of Sinister Six, but i really just want them to have a healer cause they have literally no sustain. Also with Brotherhood, they are the meta team in arena so i would personally rank them a bit higher than Sin 6 at the moment
