I like to PvP, and PvE. Usually wearing an Exo Suit nowadays. Unlocking it is easy with no cheats needed anymore, and usually on a server, official or unofficial, I'm not fussed. Single Player is great though, certainly with a guide for any platform be it xbox, ps4, ps5, pc, it's great. Sometimes play MTS, and usually post patch/update. But a survival game needs some community news and that's what I do, giving you the latest on events, small tribes, maybe even fast flyers and primitive plus, usually covering all maps from Island to Genesis Part 2. Yeah, I regularly do that, fly over to eldritch isle to grab the deep sea crates there, and repeat. The volume of high quality loot is just the best.

I think the problem with ranking them this way is that some of the "really good ones" don't have all the same things as some of the lower ones, or those not listed. I.e. OSDs are one of the only ways I've ever gotten Rex saddles.

Imo best loot cave is the Valguero cave with the crag artifact. Red/blue/yellow drops, no spawns in the cave, just lava making grapples or flyers a must and a challenge

I always got wind turbines and water wells. But sometimes saddles too, but I never got a Longneck bp, unlike my friend for some reason. But Valguero is a great map, isn't it?

Orbital supply drops loot quality is amazing for the red and purple but I just wish they weren't soo buggy :(. I had so many runs where I waited 40+ mins for the next wave to begin but nothing happens which eventually leads me to giving up.

Never had that happen to me. Each Supply Drop has certain Terrain Spots in which dinos get stuck. You simply go to those spots and kill them.

I like the crystal isles snow area as it spawns 5 loot drops on the floor and they respawn very fast i have gotted 700 dura flak bps to caped comp bows its a low risk area with high rewards

One thing I hate tho is that it is very possible to find tek gear on gen 2 and gen 1, but becoz wildcard is wildcard, we can’t use them without the tek BPs

lol I got 2 extremly op longnecks and and an amazing ascendant theri saddlewich I didn't get after searching in other maps for months. I'm speaking about the tier 2 and 3 loot crates in gen 1. also at level one you can easily do all racing missions and get tek stuff ,ascendant megalo and megatheruim saddle and hazard suit, the loot on some of the easy missions is insane for the fact that a level 1 character can aquire it. doing alpha races doesn't require any tames or levels or anything. and most alpha races can be done in 2 minutes and 30seconds. and it doesn't give crops blueprints

​@@AdamGamingARK Don't forget that if you start on gen 1 the only way to get tek blueprints is to fight one of the hardest boss of the game (without taking acount the number of missions necessary) , also i'm only speaking about gen 1 , for me gen 2 loot is pretty good and don't need any change , I totaly agree with you with the lvl 1 point of view but for me gen 1 is one of the worst map to farm blueprint when you're at the end-game

@@gef_dysk5426 I agree that I the tek needs to be unlocked by boss fights before. but for example if you consult the loot table of the wave ray 64 race you will find that it gives megalosaurus saddle and megatheruim. a lot of people for example when they want to fight rockwell on abb or the broodmother in the island they keep searching months doing the same cave over and over A LOOOT of time. and As for me I just did that mission and got ascendant megatheruim and megalo saddle on the first attempts on alpha. (wich is AMAZING AT END-GAME because with these 2 saddles the boss fight will be easier) also these missions gives a lot of xp especially because my xp was at 2 or 2.5. . and farming at level one is not really true because after a couple of races maybe 5 alpha races I would be at level 40 or so the farming began at lvl 1 and finished at a high level.the best thing is that the missions loot is not totally random. if you consult missions loot table on ark fandom you will find missions that have very higher chance of giving you a longneck for example or a rex saddle. the spy vs spino has very high chance of dropping giga saddle. in drops you may find a giga saddle if you are lucky after A LOOT OF search but if that saddle wasn't good you will need to search more and more you may only get a 30 armor saddle giga .it depends on your luck and can take from 1 day to months to find the best giga saddle you can. while in the spy vs spino missions after each 15 minutes (the mission lenght) its garuanteed that you get an amazing saddle on alpha difficulty. if you want a pump-action shotgun do the out of the frying pen. you can have your storage box full of ascendant shotguns in 2 hours. you may find what you want in a loot drop after 30 drops for example but for missions just search for what you want and you get. some races are only 2minutes and a half . you can do them at level 1 and get riot armor. if you want to fight the broodmother or rockwell just transfer to gen and you will probable get amazing ascendant megalo and megatheruim saddle from the first try on the wave ray race .hide and sink is also a very easy mission that gives rex saddes. I got rexes saddles from doing that mission 3 times in a row and one of them had 167 armor.why searching months when you can get A load of what you want in minutes. getting amazing riot gear at level one is possible in gen1 .in the island plant crops blueprints and gps blueprints are mostly what red drops contain (what a joke) unless you're in end game and have a basi/mosa for deap sea. osd are also only a late game thing

IMO, the best loots are gen2, for some odd reasons. Gen 2 has a few loot tables that were broken, producing tek saddle bps (such as tek rex) at MUCH higher armor than a normal saddle would cap at, and they didn't throttle down after you crafted them. Downside is those 290 tek rex saddles are hellishly expensive to make. The second reason is hex loot crates, they give you the ability to get ANY BP that is in the game, though at random odds/rarity. If you only want to maintain one server for farming loot, it should be Gen2. If you only one a very specific BP, like a whip, you'd be better off farming SE locally.

Ragnarok: *defeat ice worm queen “Oh! Oh! Ascended plesiosaurs saddle😑😑😑” * outside loot crates…177% crossbow bp with 300 durability😮.. *hour later a rifle with 164% and a rifle bp with 177% 😮😮 (Why even fight the queen if it’s not for the artifact🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️) Crystal isles: a 187% rifle bp in a common loot crate😑😑😑 Gen1: *after 100,000 hexagons: a ascended 234% rifle…. Gen2: *do beta enforcer race A purple 217% rifle😑😑…demolish advanced structures for easy resources… (On my first gameplay I had a whole base😑…a grill,Indy forge, 2 grinders..kind of made anything I wanted to do pointless…best thing to do was to get a good pick bp and invest all my points into melee so I can cap myself with metal….then consume a mindwipe when finish…) My point was….that playing early on….I had this expectation that the loot crates that are harder to reach should give the best rewards but 80% of the time…they have done the opposite for me….

So these are bad because Red Drops are only good for Certain Things. Number One will be whatever gives you Highest Percent Chance on Flak BPs, Overcap BPs, and RARE Saddle BPs. That would be a like 3-4 Gen 2 Missions and Red/Purple Drops on Ext. Whatever can give you 550+ Dura Flak BPs the fastest is the best. Red Drops will never give you the Insane Stuff. Even with that Water Dino Buff you mostly get Ascendant BPs which are generally Trash because Cost. Honestly Island with Water Dino Buff is better then any other map for Basi/Rhino BPs except maybe for a few Gen Missions. For Example Best Giga Saddle BP I've gotten from Red Drops -74 Journeyman 80 Mastercraft. Very Good but not the Best. Got 80 Apprentice on Gen 2. You don't get Flak BPs from Red Drops. So they are not even in the Top 5. So essentially don't hit red drops unless you want Scuba/Fur BPs or are willing to run it for 25+ hours to get decent Tuso, Giga, Riot Shield bps. And a few other misc ones that aren't essential.
