Small correction. The Cacciatore 12G is class 1-8 and the Grelck drilling rifle barrel is 5-9. Would be nice if it was 4-9 though, like the 7mm. :)

The greleck can use 16 gauge shotgun shells and the rifle wich is why it has 1-9

Honestly you really only need, 22lr rifle, 243, 7mm/303/30-06/m1, any shotgun with birdshot and 300 or 338 or bows. They really need to balance out the weapon system better and make other guns more useful like 22h, 223, 30-30, 45-70, 470, 270, 6.5 and more.

Yeah, or if they just added a simple to swap Loadout System like people have been asking for for years it would be easier and quicker to swap between weapons and experiment more, and change out maps easier.

Cool tip if you have wp2 the Colt .45 is nice hand gun to lvl up your HG score from small to medium sized game also you can use the .410 birdshot for leveling the SG score on rabbits (ducks if you get close enough) (at least I think it is shotgun score there was a game build that it glitched and used to give handgun but I think that has been fixed)

My all around loadout is : 1 : .300 Canning Magnum to hunt 7-9 2 : M1 Iwaniec to hunt 4-6 3 : .243 or Vasquez Cyclone .45 to hunt 2-3 4 : Virant .22LR Express to hunt 1 I can hunt everything, just need to take the right callers for what i gonna hunt !

I tend to use the 338, .243, and .22 Hornet, which recently replaced the .22lr for me. I find the 7mm mag misses vitals on Cape Buffalo too often so it's out of the picture. I'm noticing the .22H is a bit light for coyotes so I may go back to the .22 instead. Lady, if you get time, try a bison and cape buffalo hunt with the 7mm and lets see if it's just me having issues on class 9 with that rifle.

But the 7mm mag has failed to each vitals on clean broadside shots on cape buffalo routinely, I consider it a 4-8 gun at this point. 22H has been dropped too. It's marginal on yotes and expensive for lvl1 only animals when the 22 kills them fine. So I'm running 338 or 300, 303, 243 and 22lr.

Kinda unrelated, but I'm sad there is no small caliber break action rifle in the game. I had a Baikal IJ-18 IRL in .222 (exists in .223 and .243 too) and that would be neat in the game for people like me who like to make "weapons sets". I like to get families of weapons, like, cowboy set (lever action, old school revolver), Modern set (all 3 ARs), bolt action set, but sadly for a "break action set" we only have the 7mm and .338, but nothing for low levels, I would love a .223 or .243 break action, wouldn't be a great rifle, but would allow to hunt a great range of animals in a "break action rifles only" mindset :D

i'd say, now that the modern rifles are in the game, the .223 AR might be better for beginners than the .243 because you can get a lot more shots off.

My absolute favorite is the. 338 I prefer it over the 300, .338 has more penetration but you only get one shot with it

Hey Lady! :-) I only very recently dusted off that Game for me again and came across your awesome vids. Kinda surprised though you didn't even mention the Solokhin MN1890, especially since it comes in the same pack as the Drilling. I remember when I started off, those two carried me all the way through my leveling-up 2-3 years ago. Not only is the MN awesome for long shots, it also will drop anything up to a red deer dead on the spot if you hit a vital, and even if you don't, being a shaky, over-eager newbie, it'll do enough damage so it most likely will bleed out within 100 m if you manage to get a hit anywhere on the torso. Have to say I rarely ever bothered with anything below level 3 back then, and that one Mission in the Taiga where you had to bag one Moschus deer, they didn't mind me handing in that shredded carcass :D

First of all I'm new, and you're the best. I never say well that was a waste of time after one of your videos. Your well organized and stay on point. No mission creap, bumbling or ranting. Tks.... So far I like New Zealand, a lot of open areas and medium size targets. Although the goats made me buy first aid kits. Once hit 3 times almost died, rushing back to outpost at night to recover, hit pig with ATV and died from accident. Do you have a video on the pros and cons of multi-player mode. Again Tks.

I want to love the Grelck, I really do but I just can't get on with it. I wish we could use other scopes with it (even if that means removing it in shotgun mode) and that rifle zeroing makes me shudder.

Most people use the 4x-8x Scope over the 8x-16x and the Drilling Scope is 3x-9x so it's arguably better than the scope people normally use.

My second comment :) If you could, because I believe it would be good for beginners to know this, explain how singleplayer\multiplayer hunts work. I often hear you or flinter saying you shot something good in multiplayer. But what are the conditions, how does it work? Or is it just random and just a different map than singleplayer. It shouldn't be a hard\long video to make since you know everything about it but I think it would be very helpful for new players. I couldn't find any videos of the kind and one I found is very old. Thanks.

Just like real life the 6.5 handel's great but it is a target round not a hunting round IMO. The game needs a hunting big 7 bolt, like a STW or a 28 Nos.

I prefer the expansion bullets; if I'm right on the money it doesn't matter, but if I'm off just a little bit I feel like the expansion helps hit the vitals that I may have otherwise just barely missed. It's not always, but most of the time.

I ended up taking our XBox controllers apart and cleaning the parts inside when our controllers started to drift annoyingly. I found instructions on KZbin for cleaning the XBox controllers. Do this at your own discretion. Good Luck !!

.300 Magnum and Caccioatore are not New Players weapons, cuz they're not "Early Game" weapons. They requiers lots of score and big money. I would love to at Sundberg and Anderson to this list. Makes life much much easier. Also as the only and best non-dlc 4-8 rifle .270 should've been in that list imo. Anderson -> for Class 1 Sundberg -> for safety 7mm -> for 7-9 .243 -> for 2-6 Vasquez-> for situational big herds of small animals (2-4) Best early to mid game loadout imo. Grelck Drilling is fun cuz it's 2 weapon in 1 actually. But sadly low magazine size, big recoil, super heavy (5kg) . So I would've avoid. Sadly shotguns kinda weak and less useful compare to other weapon classes in this game except caciatore and cacciatıore is hard to get. Also some handguns can fire birdshots too. So idk, Shotguns feels really useless to me.
