You get Ludwig's Holy Blade from the base game. The actual Ludwig DLC boss fight awards you with the Holy Moonlight Sword, which is the magic sword that appears in all souls games. Ludwig's Holy Blade is a str / dex sword that just slaps, no magic properties. It still is the best weapon in BB. Edit: Since my comment was pinned let me add where you can get Ludwig's Holy Blade in the base game. You can actually get it pretty early and let it carry you through the whole game. You just need to kill Blood-Starved Beast, an optional boss at the bottom of old Yharnam, that you can rush to right after you kill Father Gascoigne. After the Beast is dead, a previously locked door at Cathedral Ward can now be opened, leading you to an elevator eventually leading you to a chest containing the Radiant Sword Hunter Badge. Having this Badge allows you to purchase the sword along with some other goodies from the messenger shop in the Hunter's Dream.

Fun fact: the Great Scythe in DS1 is actually stronger than BKH for many reasons! (easy aquisition,bleed, nicer range etc.) Also, the Meat Cleaver from DeS not being here is criminal, that thing has 2 S scalings, 1 A scaling, you can get it max upgraded from just a 0+ club, it has life gain, fast moveset etc. Yeah I Disagree on this one, cool though

Blasphemous Blade and the Fire Anvil are my favs in ER, my fav in DS1 is the winged spear, DS2 is the Battle Axe, and Bloodborne is the Saw Cleaver (of course). DS3 I like the big lava looking sword, I forget what it's called.

All the weapons you picked were great. I would substitute in the Dragonslayer Greataxe for Vordt's greathammer in DS3 though. And maybe I'd rank the claymore higher overall? It is awesome in every Fromsoft game in which it appears. Also, I've personally never vibed with either the Blasphemous Blade or the Sword of Night and Flame (and I had the stats to maximize both of them back when they were overpowered). I'd pick the Fire Knights greatsword from the Shadow of the Erdtree Elden Ring DLC over both of them. Insanely powerful with an impeccable moveset.

Man have you played Bloodborne ludwigs holy blade is not a boss weapon it is a base game weapon not a dlc weapon and while it is definitely great and deserves to be on this list, most people would probably have this entire list be bloodborne weapons

Just a minor correction on the Ludwig’s Holy Blade, you get it after defeating the Blood-Starved Beast and going through the door that open in Oden’s Chapel and ascending to the top of the tower 🙈🙈
