Don't you know, the match was fixed against Pakistan, or the pitch was intentionally made to help USA only, India somehow caused them to loose the match, or maybe the ball had a chip in it, or maybe it was the nihari they ate the night before or they didn't get enough beef/protein like during ODI world cup and it made them weak. Just know Pakistan lost to USA because there was some conspiracy against them.

That is not match fixing! Ball tampering is a very very common thing in cricket. In 94 Michael Atherton casually pulled out sandpaper from his pocket to use it. What was his punishment? 2500£!! Faf used candy he was chewing on to do the same, TWICE. Was that candy coincidently there? I doubt it. The trio certainly cheated, but didn't fix a game!

Kapil Dev is not banned for the fixing but is being punished by BCCI for trying to start Indial Cicket League (ICL). BCCI killed ICL by launching IPL and basically sidelined Kapil forever, even though he is and will be the top legend india. BCCI is a very dangerous organization.

I think Kapil Dev was involved in fixing... Many people in those Tehelka tapes agreed that he was up to something. I think the chandrachud commission let him go because he was the most respected cricketer in India at the time.
