I own a 2022 KTM 390 Adventure. I have clocked 13000 km in 7 months. In cities (Pune) even with heavy traffic, with HP, IOCL, BPCL fuel I get around 30kmpl and with Shell it easily goes up till 33kmpl. On highway any day above 35kmpl.

Rtr 200 4v bs6. I have matte blue..with seat cushioning accessory or gel pants to increase comfort..this thing rides like a dream. From Gujarat's Statue of Unity to Mumbai I reached within 5 hrs. Twisted my throttle all the way for 200 kms.. reached top speed of 144. And also gives good mileage if you are a cruiser and like to maintain 80-100. Plenty of juice is left over to over take most of the vehicles even at 120 kph also. You'll never feel out of place on highway with this vehicle. Enough safety with dual abs and slipper clutch. Good for fast riders and cruisers both. Ridden 13k kms in several months

I'll correct some facts. I own 390 Adventure and have clocked 30,000 KM's till now even in some harsh terrains like Mustang Nepal, Tibbet, Leh, etc. My Experience: 1. You can easily cruise at 130KM/Hour, and mileage will be around 25KM/liter even with loaded luggage and panniers together. 2. Top Speed I have clocked is 165 km/hr 3. In city you can easily get mileage between 30 to 40 km/l. (Yes it's true) | Normally it is 29 - 30 km/liter. 4. Gearbox is not so smooth only at low speed (1st or 2nd gear) 5. Best part of this bike is quick shifter (Which I use everyday very often and it's best while offroading and while overtaking) 6. Maintainece is reasonable, service cost range from 3K - 5K, and service interval is 7K KM. 7. Some parts are quite expensive. For example: front break pad is 2K, tires are 30K 8. Insurance is also affordable. 9. I Purchased on EMI. 1.10 Lac down payment. 12K monthly EMI for 3 years. 70 K spend on accessories including Royal enfiled panniers 10. In Delhi, few service center offers good service. 11. Colorful TFT display is amazing. 12. Don't know much use of Traction control and other perks but they never created any problems, so it is an amazing package. 13. I have ridden this bike continuously at the speed of 120KM for a continuous 500 KM for 6 hours straight. Engine is buttery smooth and the mileage was 25 KM/liter. No Pain in ass, arms, back, etc. 14. Only part I hate is Chain Sprocket. Which wears out really quickly which is very weird. Because I do chain maintenance often. I'm more than happy to own this, would never think of BMW 310 GS. 120kmph speed for 500kms ? What a joke. Do u ride on autobahn ? Its just 390cc engine. If u ride @120kmph for 500kms, very next day engine would be dead. Also, how fit are you to ride for such distance at that speed ? That too non stop ? 😂😂😂 30k for tyres ? What tyres do u use ? JK tyre of volvo ?😂😂 30-40kmpl within city ? @@3rdclasstatamahindrabajajRE I maintain speeds of 105-120 on my KTM 250 bs6, its buttery smooth all the way long towards TN from KA and to KL, did about 650 kms maintaining a minimum speeds of 95 didn't face any issues, mileage was about 36km/litre, but the problem is sprocket and chain kit! Chain gets super hot when i ride continuous for even 50kms!

Mene apache 160 rtr pe gangotri, badrinath, mana village, lansdowne, lohaghat, shimla, narkanda, nainital, almora, ranikhet, kausani, musiyari, ,etc kiya hai or experience se bata raha hun k bike bhot hi achhi hai average bhi 45 tak ka bhot araam se de deti hai. Bs iss bike mein ek problem hai ki iska chain set bhot jaldi ghiss jata hai or ye hills pr underpowered lagti hai… Baaki bhot reliable bike hai… Itni saari trips ki pr aaj tak ek puncture tak nhi hua ispe.. It sucks on highways. It is also quite expensive for what it offers Through out it's history it has had way too many issues. Yezdi adventure is better. Significantly better at highway duties. It has same wheel size, long travel suspension and is even lighter. On offroads it is on par or better than Himalayan.

Despite being heavy weight (that's why very stable at higher speed against cross wind) sport-tourer DOMINAR 250 (11kg lighter than new Dominar 400 with accessories) is one of the best choice for touring under 2 lakh. One more thing,RS 200 is better choice in terms of riding posture for touring than R15 or KTM RC 200 (personal opinion).

This bike is JACK of all trades & with few mods I made this as KING of all trades. ->If budget is 5 lakhs go for ktm adventure 390 which includes some important mods. No bike beats it at 5 lakh budget in terms of performance, off-roading capabilities & features it possess. -> Want to show-off with average do it all bike go for BMW 310 gs. Budget atleast 6 lakh including extra amount for spares & servicing.Remember service & spares are cost of a 1000cc bike -> Want to do good off-roading , decent high way speeds & budget is around 2.5 lakh go for himalayan -> Hardcore off-roading & average highway sppeds Want to go fast on highways, very little off roading ,very less maintenance with budget around 2.5 lakh go for dominar -> Want to go very fast highway speeds, budget around 4 lakh & very less offroad & very less city traffic rides.
