A great list. Based on your recommendation I have bought three fragrances (D&G Light Blue intense, Mont Blanc Individuel, Hanae Mori HM). I'm pleased with each one. Your descriptions are spot on. I have been using Hanae Mori HM since 2014. A great summer and spring fragrance that literally gets me stopped on the streets by men and women asking what I'm wearing. Lemon frosty and a sweet vanilla drydown. Amazing scent!

Where I currently am, I have very limited access to fragrances, however, I remember clearly how Dunhill Desire smells because it was the very first male fragrance that stood out on a gentleman I knew. Ever since then, I have associated the smell with a regal, strong but youthful man. It’s strange how we connect scent to time, places and people.

I went to Macy's to try John Varvatos to see whats it about and it's no good. Smelled like pottery, then it got strong and bad. I gave to 2 women to check and they were repelled by it and said it stinks. Might be different on skin but won't be mine, it really stinks. I don't think old men would dare either.

Jil Sander Sun is fucking amazing, smells soo fresh and citrus clean. I almost didnt buy it because of the "fizzy orange" description and thought it would be funky but no.
