I just want to thank everyone for watching. If I left something out - it’s probably because I don’t have it… can’t have everything! Also these selections are subjective- just because I like something doesn’t mean you will.

Awesome selection. Very envious. Can’t fault a single choice. So glad Gary Moore is in there. What a blues man and guitarist he was.

I haven’t heard all his playing, but best Albert King heard for me is on “Jammed Together” with Pop Staples and Steve Cropper. Sweet guitar.

I thoroughly enjoyed your video. Albert King has always been my favorite guitarist, so you can imagine what I thought of your top two selections. I do think Robben Ford needs to get more recognition. He should be on your list somewhere, IMO. 😎

Blues Bros were a party band with some of the top musicians from Atlantic studio musicians , mainly from Booker T and the MG's ,But not on the same level as SRVaughn , Clapton, Walter Trout and those guys .So another no 10 please. Then I'll return to hear thr rest of top 10,
@Birdlives24716 күн бұрын
Booker T and the MGs were from the Stax studio. Steve Cropper is a great guitar player. Not flashy but perfect for soul recordings. Sometimes less is more. B.B. King was not flashy but he could play the blues better than Clapton . Is Walter Trout in the same league as Clapton or Stevie Ray Vaugn? Ask Buddy Guy.

Putting the Blues Brothers on this list when there are so many great blues artists who are not on it is just insulting.

Some fine choices but two misses - need some Freddie King, and as far as Clapton solo blues albums the only choice is From the Cradle

Son Seals doin' Four Full Seasons Of Love has always been one of my favorites off the album. I have Blues Alive by Gary Moore. It has a little over half of the songs that are on yours plus some others. My favorite is Still Got The Blues Over You. I love how expressive that guitar is on that song and that's another of my all time favorites along with Cold Day In Hell.

Gary Moore was the Best guitar player I have ever seen , I have seen a shit ton .
@russcottee14 күн бұрын
You were doing well until you got to Gary Moore who (IMO) ruined the blues with his overdriven, widdly-diddly nonsense, which paved the way for other 'rawk' players to claim they were blues players (e.g. Bonnamassa). Also I agree that Clapton should be in there, but you chose one of his most anodyne MOR albums: you could have gone with the Bluesbreakers' album or 'From The Cradle'. All the best
@whitex465211 күн бұрын
So this is maybe the list of the best blues albums from the albums you bought at the time because they were bargains. Where is John Mayall's Bluesbreakers with Eric Clapton? Johnny Winter's Second Winter? Gary Moore's Still Got The blues? ... and so on and on and on. You are a fool.
