Because Honda makes some GREAT engines? Like seriously? Hate all you want on their cars and automatics, but there is no denying they make some KICKASS reliable AND zippy little motors. ESPECIALLY the f20 from the s2000, first engine to come out with 100 hp per liter son

e30zone has all the info, they even got their own wiki. Cheapest swap is gutting an e36 325i for an M50B25 or e36 318is for an M42B18 M50B25 is justified, 190 hp in a little e30 is like low flying aircraft

Well...You did not put a 5.4 V12 from 850CSi into your E30, Im 100% sure. Why? Because the CSi has a 5.6 liter V12 with 381 HP, the engine you used was the "ordinary" V12, or actually an updated version of the original V12 5.0, the updated version had 326-ish HP compared to the 300-ish to the original 5.0 version. What you meant was that you took an engine from a 850Ci, thats a huge difference.

Too expensive. Way too expensive unless you're a well connected guy with some actual racing background and have the money for it too. Or sponsors like crazy with a big KZbin presence. But a Honda K swap? Pfffft, 450 at my local junkyard with the computer. Wiring harness, 200+. An s2000 tranny adapter, 300. An s2000 tranny shouldn't be more than 500. And that's if you have zero connections or sponsors. 🤷🏾‍♂️ How much to do BMW swaps? You still need a harness, still need adapters, etc
