Hey Seanin! Great list of books. :) I may do a similar video, but I feel since I just started my booktube channel in August I don't have 10 books! LOL! BTW - digging the haircut - it flatters you.

@@TedReadInstead Thanks! Even if you did a top 5 that would still be cool haha but there is always the end of this year.

Found you from your interview with Sam not so wise - definitely sticking around :) I’m a baby booktuber as well - it’s been so fun but so outside my comfort zone haha

That's a great top ten, Seanin. I wasn't at all surprised to see Barry Crump on your list. ☺️You have spoken so enthusiastically about his writing previously. I really must get around to reading him sometime. Testimonies and Transition sounds like a great read, too and of course, it's hard to beat Tolkien.☺️ Good luck with your studies, Seanin. I do hope it's all going well. 😃

Interesting that you mention Wolfe's "folkloric" feel. For a layman who was educated and worked as an engineer, he sure knew his stuff in that realm. Sometimes Wolfe makes my jaw drop with the esoteric references he could casually toss in an age prior to search engines and such. Turin Turambar grimdark? That just feels wrong somehow. 😂 But I guess I understand why younger readers might describe it in that way. House Full of Females sounds like one I'd like to read. And Dialectics of Myth sounds fascinating but intimidating. I enjoyed hearing your list; thanks for sharing it. Hope things are going well.

Wolfe was definitely a smart cookie(as they say) that turned out some exceptional writing. I think that Turin is a great read even if some might call it grimdark 😅. Thanks for watching Bryan and hope all is well assuming you got a lot of snow this past weekend.

Great list and it has been fun seeing you talk about many of these of the past 4 months. Happy new year and I look forward to seeing what you get up to :)

Honestly most of these I read later in the year as well so perhaps I got better at picking books 😅

@@book-rambleThings are going well! My family of four is currently in one bedroom in my brothers house and I haven’t had much of a setting to record and I’ve been very busy since I started two jobs and have classes ongoing too. I’ve spent a lot of time visiting with my family and being sick so I have been rather inactive on Yt but I plan to come back when I can. At the very latest when we get our own apartment again!

@@saintdonoghue Presocratics and the Earth being flat? Sure! A lot of them say it’s eternal as well but the elements are neat and personally if I had to choose one element to be the basis of nature I’d choose fire cause that’s cool. 😎
