Male is green, like #1 variety, female is blue-to-grey-to-violet + pale yellow head. She looks like stormy sky, can i call it rainbow? 😂 Also, my boy has grey fluff under his feather, and my girl has it white. This makes their color variations much more unique.

I just lost both of my budgies yesterday, and I didnt feel like getting anymore budgies.. until this video showed me that I liked a specific kind of budgie and may get it.. one of my budgies that passed away was a Lutino Budgie, with red eyes. but she was partially green.. And Easter, the other budgie, was a blue and white and yellow budgie, but his feathers recently started turning more grey-ish..

I have a budgie that is dark violet and grey mixed together. Shes beautiful and then I have a male budgie and his name is Scoot, he is all white except for part of his tummy is light light blue. Hes absolutely gorgeous. Edit: Turns out hes a pied budgie

Wow! I have pied budgies, a green and sky blue budgie, and an albino budgie! I have two other budgies, one has a yellow head and has blue as it’s chest color! She also has a cute white spot on the back of her head and her companion has a white forehead and his color is very unique! It’s like a grey ish/dark blue color! Awesome video!

What's interesting about the "rainbow" (if I remember correctly) is the commingling of genetic traits; that is, the genes that produce the yellow color usually cause the whole bird to be either yellow or green. On a rainbow you see patches of blue AND yellow/green. As stated, the most common is probably a blue body with yellow face.

My Budgie bubbles is a dull white with pied pastel blue grey markings, brown speckled wings and two odd eyes (one fully black and one with the white ring). Hm.... my budgie doesn't really perfectly fit any of these. It's almost the grey budgie, but it has the lightest tint of blue instead of gray for it's body. It's really pretty, but way toned down on the blue compared to the sky blue budgie.

Rainbow budgies have no stripes. They must have the blue, yellowface, opaline and clearwing mutations. 😊

I don’t know what my type of budgie is, it have this blue pair that made a blue and green mixed baby, and a blue and yellow mix, one day I noticed my blue budgie baby started changing as it grew older, and one day after coming home from work it had green mixed in with its blue, it’s tail shows it the most but I’m so confused as to how to blue parents, no green on them at all made a blue green mix, I’m assuming the pet store I bought them from probably had them mixed from breeders before they had their hands on them, because that’s the only explanation I can think of
