Do you think there will be many road trips this summer with gas so high?

If you have a really gas efficient car it's not too bad. My boyfriend and I made a cross country move in his honda civic and he would spend 20 dollars to fill up on half.

@@helenam3669 I used to drive an 83 Honda Civic. It got 40 mpg on the highway.

Cabazon is a ghost town now...... Indio is a bit dangerous. Santa Cruz is run down, I thought us was fun to see 20 years ago but I heard not even the amusement park is working anymore.

None of these locations are truly on any back roads. The most desirable back roads are generally one lane paved routes thru a forest, or DIRT ROADS which lead to secluded spots and private waterfalls.
