Nice! I love so many from Chanel…so well done and all complete tales. There’s nothing left unfinished and I always wonder how that’s done. There are some I’m not interested in, such as Gabriel or Gardenia. I love love love 5 and 19 in the extrait form. And I love love love Coromandel and No18 and I am quite keen on Misia. It’s sort of eerie and beautiful. No 19 extrait …once I smelled thAt…we’ll that was all I wore for about 5 years.

Of all my perfumes my Chanels are what I reach for the most,they just do it for me.Cristalle for a brisk walk in the snow ,a little dab of Chanel #5 pure perfume for comfy evening.I wore coco when it was first released am I wrong in thinking coco noir resembles coco of that time rather than the actual coco today?I find the coco of today is much much lighter than it was.All and all your so right about Chanel. Le Lion is Excellent. Great perfumes CAN still be made! For example, Rogue's perfumes are rich & vintage styled and are actually within IFRA guidelines, so why won't more houses get with it? Is it just a matter of profit margins?....

Saw that BdC bottle in the thumbnail and thought, 'this MUST be a misprint'... 🤭 Big fan of Pour Monsieur edp, but I certainly wouldn't class it as a citrus scent. Far more of a powdery, slightly waxy opoponax and oakmoss with a perfectly discrete amount of lavender. Really appreciate those timestamps in the description Eugen. Stay safe on those snowy runs. ❄️

What do you think about Pour Monsieur EDT? In my opinion its better than EDP. I have both and EDP is more about vanilla and nutmeg

@@bronek7729 Agreed. The edp is definitely more of a floral vanilla. I love that petitgrain opening but the drydown of the edt is better. They should've made it an extrait. 😄

Eugene , you never did a review on Paris- Edimbourg as I recall. This is my blind grab when I can't choose what to wear. Surprisingly it worked in Fall but also in winter days for me , more so than in summer. What are your thoughts on this one? My Chanel winter favorites are Le Lion , Egoiste and Anteus.

Great lineup, recently got Coco and can’t tell if it is authentic took a chance on eBay from reputable seller, it smells great and I have researched online about spotting fakes, any sure way to know ? It smells great off top, however the cap is different from my no 19 and no 5

Not trying to be a dick, genuinely curious: I've never understood the claim that Bleu, which came out in 2010, was the first blue fragrance. Cool Water was 1988! The 90s was overloaded with scents that evoked the ocean and/or being fresh out of the shower. And if having "blue" in the name is the standard to go by, RL put out Polo Blue in 2003. I suppose it'd be necessary to define what we mean by "blue" fragrances to answer my question, and it seems to mean different things to different people. What am I missing?

I remember taking a cruise in 1990 to the Bahamas. The gift shop didn't seem to sell any fragrance BUT Cool Water. All the single guys must have bought a bottle -- the entire ship smelled like Cool Water that trip 😒 Now my least favorite fragrance of all time.
