Very nicely done. Another thing for the bucket list. I noticed that on Facebook you mentioned that you are getting fewer views. For some reason, this KZbin version never showed up with the rest of my subscriptions. I don't recall that happening before. I certainly hope you can continue. You have always been one of my favorite travel bloggers.

I love translucent pink petals. Cherry trees are casting a pink reflection on the water. A beautiful display of soft pink is just a marvelous miracle!❤️❤️

Yay! The first of the Kansai videos is out! Such great recommendations here! 😍 Sakura season is the best time to visit Japan! It's great you could ride the Sagano Romantic Train. Highly recommended. It's also spectacular during autumn. By the way, the regular JR trains don't have assigned seats. No worries!

Loved this vlog! I grew up in DC and we always had picnics under the cherry trees (donated by Japan), so this was very nostalgic for me :). I would love to see these in person. It's rainy and gloomy here today, so this was a very welcome reminder that Spring is here!! I particularly loved the areas with the blossoms draping out over water and the train ride!! Thanks again for all of your hard work and for sharing these experiences with us!!

I'm going to have to figure out a prime time to visit Japan during cherry blossom season. I've only been in late spring and in early autumn. This video brings back so many memories.

Christine What your videos do is inspire me to see places again and see it in a new light like Kyoto I stayed in a very nice guest house that was only about $15 to $21 a night. Also when I am homesick for Japan your videos are much better then my own pictures and videos to watch. I am also sharing your Japan videos with my airbnb hosts to share with their guests visiting Japan. Awesome!!! video now one of my favorite Japan videos!
@grrrltraveler5 жыл бұрын
Wow how was the $15-21/nite-- was it near a metro? Lol
@dougwiermaa5 жыл бұрын
Christine you take a local bus located at the main Kyoto train station .The bus ride is a fairly quick 20 min scenic ride one connection from main Kyoto station and walk 2 blocks to guest house. You are actually headed to the center of Kyoto.

Aloha Christine! Another great video as usual, love the way you capture the feel of the places you visit. I heard those bowing deer can get pretty aggressive once they realize you have food, how was your experience with them? Amazing how many people were around, did you visit most places during a weekend or during the week?

This was a beautiful tour of the cherry blossoms and the different tourist spots. Japan is on my list to get to and hoping to get there about the same time as you. But I did notice you were still wearing warm clothing, so I guess the temperature is similar to us here in Toronto.

Other recommendations for Kansai are: Osaka: Kema Sakuranomiya Park Japan Mint Bureau Expo Commemoration Park Shukugawa Park (Hyogo Prefecture) Kyoto: Heian Jingu Shrine Nara: Mt Yoshino is famous for its several thousand sakura on the mountain and surrounding mountains.

+Lin Nyunt Thanks for sharing! I'll need to watch your Kyoto video to see---- Heian's Sakura was locked away under an admission fee - it was hard to see what I'd get. Was Mt Yoshino easier to get to than I thought?

thanks for appreciating my work, but as a content creator, I don't encourage downloads as people start stealing, copying, reuploading... it's stressful to manage. My videos/channels are monetized for a reason so every bit helps me if my views are connected to my channel. When they aren't, they add to my discouragement of making videos... which i'm already struggling with.
@zafmemyselfandi425 жыл бұрын
@@grrrltraveler I would never steal anything but I took it fast because I am running out of data and I want to share it on Facebook don't you want more Subscribers, I have the best intentions with my input for you I always get more Subscribers so more likes and comments for my favourites, you need them to keep traveling ...I would never do anything negative...Sad that you have people with bad intentions around you! Guess that makes you think different about me downloading your video to share it later on...okay I will remove it then! If that makes you feel better! Blessings Zaf...🙏
