dont be silly, plugins are basically an extension of the program, if the program had all the functions of the plugins you'll refer to it as 'good design sense and strong foundation' as well, so think a bit before typing

@@v1nigra3 That just tells me that you have never been hired by a budget company or studio. Im not talking about render plugins like redshift or octane. Can we take a moment and just appreciate how cheap 3D is today. Not so long ago even smaller houses couldn't afford any of these plugins. Now with a bit of money management you could buy an entire set of amazing plugins as a hobbyist. A small 5-man shop can easily afford similar tools the big guy uses with similar results. Amazing.

no its really not, they have yet to under stand that there are people out there that want to try new things and dont have the money to shell out for that sort of thing, I myself love trying vfx work and its really difficult to do when everything costs so much damn money, because its not like i know the software too, and for those that do demos, they are just attrocious, nothing like the final real product or dont even work
@annekedebruyn77972 жыл бұрын
@@JakeMMC Compared to 20 years ago it's insanely affordable. Reminder that 3D software back in the days costed between 10-20k that was locked to specialized hardware to could go to 300k for once seat alone. Investing a few thousand a year in your job is not expensive assuming you are able to make proper salary. Hell, you can start on free software. If you don't think 3D is affordable today with all the cheap renderfarms and software, you are either a student without a side job, currently not working or not asking enough money.
