Gouda and Middelburg are also very much worth a visit. They both have a beautiful gothic town hall and Middelburg also has a beautiful abbey right in the center of the town.

Nice video! If you ever come back to the Netherlands, you should definitely visit the smaller villages like Sloten (Friesland), Bourtange (Groningen) or medium large cities like Deventer (Overijssel) or Amersfoort (Utrecht).

That’s the plan whenever I go back! I love exploring small towns! Those places could make for great future vlogs! 😊

Nice video. The Netherlands really is a unique and beautiful country. After your opening disclaimer about not speaking Dutch I was quite pleasantly surprised with how well you did.

How can you not list ‘s-Hertogenbosch in this list?

I put a lot of cities in consideration for this list. And it was very hard to make a top 10 list based off of this. I was tempted to make a top 20 list or even a top 50 list. But to save time, I made a top 10. And unfortunately, ‘s-Hertogenbosch didn’t make the final cut because I couldn’t find a lot of hands on information about it without deep sea diving into it. And with my full time schooling and my job, I wanted to make principal photography as less time consuming as possible. Like I said in a previous comment, a video about the eastern part of the Netherlands for a future video is not off the table. Thank you for your comment :)

What about Arnhem
@aroundtheworldwithcameron Жыл бұрын
Arnhem is very nice actually! Although I’ve considered mentioning Arnhem and other cities if and whenever I make a video specifically about the eastern part of the Netherlands, considering how underrated it is. As well as if I ever go back to the Netherlands, that time to vlog about my journey there. Thank you for your comments and questions! Seeing them makes my day! :)

I honestly don’t like tourists here in Amsterdam. It’s to busy in my opinion. They walk in bicycle lanes etc. They block the way sometimes. But not all tourists do that but still

How would you organize your accommodation if you wanted to visit each of these cities in a month? Last minute accommodation at hotels is too expensive...
@aroundtheworldwithcameron Жыл бұрын
That’s why travel planning and creating itineraries are so important when planning to travel to many places within a short period of time. When I went to Europe, we travelled to 10 cities in 7 countries within the space of 2 weeks. And we had an itinerary. All of the hotels were reserved and prepaid. As well as our train tickets and such. Trips like that require a lot of pre-planning and a lot of research. Especially when factoring in how much the trip will cost. You have to create a plan and then make all of the necessary reservations in advance. It’s a process that can take many days or weeks. Before I went to Europe, they spent a year and a half creating an itinerary for us. It can be very time consuming and overwhelming at times, especially when things change all the time. But it’s the most effective strategy to travel like that effectively and cost-efficiently. I hope this helps! Good luck on your trip! :)
