And lets just be honest - ice wizard is already a splinter in any giant's ass, making him a full def unit would turn them completely unusable.

The teleportation card had already been thought of and was going to be called a portal but in the end they thought it would be very broken and that's why they didn't include it. The wall may have been thought of but not selected due to its complicated mechanics.

I think the magic shield could actually get added to the game seeing how it could be a cheaper monk ability and maybe a counter to x bow. I also really liked the walls and could see it added to the game seeing how it's kinda sorta balanced and is a great counter to things like e-giant, lumber-loon, golem and much more.
