Noticed a lot of people talking about differenes between comic GA And CW GA. Generally, comic GA makes wise cracks and is a lighter character than Batman. There was a period where he killed as part of an ongoing series written by Miek Grell, which saw a departure from classic GA and a more "realistic" take on him. He has also killed on other occasions such as Hal Jorden and Cry for Justice. That is the big divisor between comic fans and the tv fans. The show was released right after the Nolan Batman trilogy ended, so it does take inspiration from that as well as some Batman villains like Firefly. He still does fight GA villains such as Count Vertigo, Brick, Merlyn ( who is a more complex character in the tv show) and Eddie Fyers. He and Deathstroke fought each other multiple times in the comics, such as in the Mike Grell run, the Jud Winnick run and more recently the New 52. The show has tried to move towards a lighter tone, such as in season 4, but negative critical reception caused it to return to a darker tone in season 5. This may change in season 6 but that is unclear at present. I just thought people need to know in case they had trouble differing between the show and comics.

Arrow TV show season ranking: 1. Arrow S5 100% (Prometheus is Always 10 steps ahead) 2. Arrow S1 100% (Great introduction to a series) 3. Arrow S2 100 % (Deathstroke's means are cliched, but seeing once great friends clash in both the past and present is hard to beat) 4. Arrow S3 70% (Starts out good but falls of the cliff once for some reason Ras has a "destroy the city plan") Dead Last Arrow S4 30% (Darhk wasn't that bad of a villain nor actor, yet the writers had no idea what to do with the mismatch magic theme of this season. They tried to make him powerful, but ended up making him illogically unbeatable.)
