I've been to Stafford on many nights when nothing happens, but I've also been there when all Hell repeatedly breaks loose! This year's Sizzler was an "All Hell Breaks Loose" event.

Probably the scariest one was when one of the guys got stuck in the wall I don’t remember the number but all I know is he got turned and slipped over the 22s tire and slid on the fence into the sign, I was sitting right outside of turn four and saw it live scared the hell out of me

I hope all were ok, particularly that last guy. That's a major safety issue in my opinion.

I saw that one in person. One of the worst ones I’ve seen there, probably the worst spot to hit on the track. To make matters worse, it was in the heat race before they even had the feature. The driver that took him out did it purposefully and got suspended for not sure how long

If they add safer barriers, better walls in the turns, more seats, and more catch fencing, Stafford could host top level NASCAR races. Thompson, with similar fixes, also would be a good track like Stafford as well for NASCAR. Both tracks would be welcome short track additions to the NASCAR calendar.
