That "Aunt Beth" one made me need a cigarette. The head of cps said the tactic of pulling outside acquaintances ie, family, neighbors, friends of both parties, is called cheersqauding. It's the tactic of the weaker arguement calling for help and trying to demonize their opponent in the eyes of their closest freinds. It took 2 years for the people my ex turned on me to see the truth and by then I wasn't in the forgiving mood. In fact I'm still not, I cant get that time back and it was an all time low for me. The people who could of helped and supported me looked at me like I was a monster because of her lies. I got out of that hole on my own a bit more bitter than when I went in. When they saw her for what she was due to her betrayal of them each in turn they all thought to reconnect and I cant help but think they kinda deserved the shit for picking that side. It's the ultimate I told you so and now I got nothing for any of them.
