What type of chenille yarn do you use stuff I have bought sheds a lot and hard to make magic ring. Great video❤❤❤

What state do you live in? Not sure some will sell for as much here near Kansas city.

Hi! We live in Canada, so all the prices are in Canadian dollars, which is likely why they seem a bit pricy to you. 😊

Do you feel that the smaller size amigurumi things sell better than the larger?
@daisycrochet126 ай бұрын
yes, things like our mini octopi typically sell better. with that being said, we like to bring things of a variety of different prices. it also depends on the market and the people who attend! 🤍

@@daisycrochet12 it's not whether you can profit but what you're doing to the market? What happens when the grant runs out and you have to buy the materials on your own and people expect the same price point?

@@daisycrochet12 is the yellow Burnett velvet? because I’ve looked on their website. I’ve never been able to find a yellow brunette velvet. It’s always like a greeny yellow and it’s not as pretty what you use do you think you could send me the pattern not tutorials just the pattern because I’ve never seen one as cute as these.

So, one thing I'm not seeing from this video, is a calculation of material cost + time involved. Most of these seem underpriced based on the yarn and time likely required. Are these actually profitable?
@daisycrochet126 ай бұрын
material cost and time are definitely how we come up with prices. luckily, we have been gifted a lot of yarn over the years and also received a combined $6000 dollars to put towards our business from a grant program in 2022. this makes material costs very minimal. we also only do markets in our small town, where people are unwilling to pay higher prices. also, our prices are in Canadian Dollars. hope this helps!!
@kaeldrarhiannon6 ай бұрын
@@daisycrochet12 but that means that the average crocheter watching this video wouldn't make a profit at all from these patterns. Most small business crocheters don't get free yarn and $6k in gifts for startup purposes. Idk it just seems a bit misleading to me..
