all the sesoanl unis are meta or at least one tier above the average, this will be a big problem soon, they make the non sesonal unis sub par or not good enough so they can sell the unis, its disgusting and this is just the beginning. you should keep this in mind when you make tierlists, yea, they are the best but if you dont play that week of the year they are worthless.

For me, the #1 most disappointing thing is the crappy/boring T4 skills. I was hyped for Dr strange to get his T4 and all he gets is a 50% atk buff with an awful damage attack. He isn't the only one that got fisted either and it kills all the hype. It's a shame because the abilities started off really strong and unique. It's especially egregious when you consider the time and effort (or money) it takes to t4 someone

Agree 1000% We went from unique skills like Black Widow's, Moon Knight's and Iron Man's T4s to bland trash that barely does anything new and exciting. Doctor Octopus was the last unique T4 character.

The MCU problem is simple. There are going to be more MCU updates (long term), therefore power creep is kept to a minimum (except when they want to drive PvP spending, like with Adam). Non-MCU updates, or premium characters (2099), bump up characters that don't reliably get updates more, so the power creep there is bigger.

Absolutely need cost-reduction of T3 materials. I spend mine down to zero routinely, trying to get add'l story mode featured toons up to T3 each month. Another option is to double or triple the drop rate of T3 mats.

One of my Top Requested Features that I have been wanting FOR YEARS is a way to more directly control the organization of our rosters. I have actually been holding off on T3ing a ton of characters just because they serve no use to me as a T3 that they are not already fulfilling as a T2 and by T3ing them they will then mix in with my existing T3s and make it harder to find the ones that are actually useful or that I want to use. I actually keep a lot of my T2s at level 68, or 66, or 64, etc just as a way of organizing them by usefulness. If there were a way to mark each character and then organize by marking then I could go ahead and max out every character in my roster and still be able to organize them based on their usefullness.

You can use the favorite function on each character page to highlight the ones you like using and want to keep separate. Then you can upgrade all the ones you're holding back on.

Let's hope not. Netmarble should try to wake up and learn from their mistakes. Love that the thumbnail is the Marvels. First time (kind of) that I skipped spectrum and ms marvel. Timeline is really my least favorite. T4 Adam Warlock helped. I should've t4 wolverine and spidey. Owb this season so far I have found value in my myscubio with my team lol I tried the team collection but it needs to either go or take away making players waste their resources on outdated uniforms. Depends on how you build them I don’t just use power of angry hulk and I have a mighty transcendence on my Loki and he is faster in world boss than with a rage cause he has summons as well but every player is different I think gamora and captain marvel are strong but the animations make captain marvel,ms marvel,and captain rambeu slow for the world boss legends strong but slow#sitting ducks#

The absolute lack of thought and creativity in the artifacts is one of my biggest pet peeves. These are unique items to the character, so it's the perfect opportunity to give unique abilities to these characters. They so often put the same effects on artifacts that don't even have anything to do with the character.

Suggestion about the seasonal unis, they atleast let us keep the tokens, 2 to 3 years to get like storm uni, silk summer (which are no longer metas), even enchantress has a new uni that makes the summer uni useless

My biggest complaint is how long it takes you to get soul of the faltine to tier four a character they basically give you nothing from gbr like it took me months to get enough to tier four Jean she’s only tier 4 150 a day is nothing

You are absolutely right about PVP being the best place for new characters (and old ones) to shine, and that is specifically Alliance Conquest. But the rewards need to be boosted for sure as the hardcore AC alliances just do it for the challenge. I have built some characters with CTPs and OBs just for AC. I think Shadowland is the other place but they would need to modify some of the requirements. Like how Kid Omega is only needed for 1 floor but he is really good at that floor. It is too bad because a character like Man-thing is sooo cool but I have no reason to play him in WB, AB, etc. so I never see him.

The thing is...not only the new characters with or w/o T3s are useless. T3s in general have lost looots of value. Only when they're supports/crazy-good-leads, they're relevant. And the way out of this situation is rework of game modes that encourages using your whole roster. Via restrictions probably. Like ABL/ABX. Like that 1st mode with Surtur that we had. Maybe there should be a real and honest randomizer of those restrictions. So you could get a rude "hellfire" ability only or a lil more manageable female inhumans only. Still a tough one but you fight with what you have!

There’s two things they’ve done wrong this year imo : 1. Really oversaturated certain classes and groups, mainly combat male heroes 2. Completely bottle necked some groups like speed villain, blast mutant female etc 3. The speed of uniform and t4 releases is getting out of hand in comparison to the materials we get

Forreal. I play GBR, WBL, OWB every day and play shadowland every week for the T4 mats and I’m hitting maybe 1 T4 a month. They should change the conquer level rewards instead of the T3 mats to T4 mats and give us 50 carbo or 50 SoF

Pretty good list with fair points being made, though I can't say I agree on the MCU updates, they've been pretty good. Guardians has obviously had two lasting characters that are still generally considered top tier and additionally gave groot and rocket supports that make them relevant to use. The Marvels gave us a significant upgrade to Captain Marvel which made her best of type, and a legendary battle with a reasonably priced ctp of rage and finally a t3 fury. (Also, the other uni's aren't bad, just don't move the needle much). Ant-man gave us World Boss Kang, which is one of the better designed world boss fights +significant improvements for ant-man and Wasp (and made Modok usable for anyone that cared, though admittedly I didn't :). Granted, we haven't seen the hype there was for infinity war and endgame, but that's also true outside the game so I can't say these updates felt subpar. For me the biggest disappointment was otherworld battle, because it just gave me another game mode to basically ignore, (autoplay sometimes) because all the same problems that existed in pvp already are still present there so it just feels the same. If I can't use characters that aren't considered "meta" then I'm just using the same boring crop of characters and it's not really adding much to the experience.

Since you have The Marvels as a thumbnail my perspective on the What if? S2 update as it's about the same as mine was on The Marvels. The are four characters. Usually two to four depending I guess on what sort of deadline they were working with. There is always "The Lead" character. This characters updates will be significant. In The Marvels it was Captain Marvel. In this case I am guessing it is Hela. It was Doctor Strange before that. Ghost Rider. Cable. These characters that at least in the immediate are going to do all this very impressive damage and players will therefore be the one's players are urged to put resources into. Because they may yield better winnings. Not always the truth but they must make a reason to compel players to stay interested in this game. So then we move to others and the question of whether they should be invested in or not. With The Marvels I chose not invest in the other characters just yet. My reasoning was I thought it about it and asked how much I would actually be playing as them. How often would I even use Spectrum or Ms. Marvel? As a Lead character? The answer was I just wouldn't. At best they would be Captain Marvel's support characters during the amount of times I play as her. For the Team Bonus (and I ended up using America Chavez instead of Kamala anyways because that bonus is better). So Hela, Kahhori (I love this character design imo. Very elegant), Nebula but as Yondu and Wenwu. Seems like more and more there's a Premium or character with difficult bios to obtain this being Wenwu. Hela is already great and she is used in a lot of characters Team Bonuses as support. It stands to reason she will be the powerful one. But how much more? See: Doctor Strange Classic vs MOM. Is it worth the cost? Will we be playing as her and how often? Kahhori is a featured character, franchise I mean. She's going to be all over the ads for that show soon and the subject of more articles. But will she be worthwhile in this game or, will she be Sylvie whom is good but there are much better characters so there's no reason to play as her short of Team Bonuses. And again there are better Team Up bonuses for Loki anyways. She will probably be just as easy to unlock but as to putting resources into building her up, well I think remains to be seen here. I highly doubt she will be the character that blows out Dark Phoenix, right? Leaving the other two. These two, much as I really like Nebula, are not going to be the heavy hitters. It's just not going to happen. They will "collectibles" at best. I'm sure if one wanted they'll be good enough to take a Shadowland level on their own but then they can already do that. Since the last sneak peak I was thinking about this. Planning what I am going to invest in or what I am instead going to save for (Holiday update, Christmas, discounts, so on). On a side note I can't believe they yet again did not take the opportunity to introduce Sharon Carter for What If?/MOM. She's to be featured as a main in S2 again and has a huge cult following. Third time now. Else Uatu. I mean how can they be overlooking him of all characters? Instead Wenwu? OT pretty much yes to all this. I hadn't come back yet for Spider-Verse but I can see who even uses 2099 and actually, no I can't because no one does. Though I will point out you, and I for that matter did give them props on Man-Thing for a cheap character to get new players over the hump. Specific dots aside the point that release was not a disappointment overall. Maybe a collecting dust on the shelf character for Veteran players and otherwise just a pretty thing to look at (maybe the best game representation of the character I've ever even seen) but that's an easy get for new and returning. He's at least a victory here or there even at 60. If we would do the best, maybe not a census opinion, personally I would say some of the reward updates are worthwhile. Some of the modes reward drops were garbage even for players only past three months of play. Now they are actually useful. And maybe I would put shortening the duration of Multiverse on my list. I didn't consider it until they did that how much I would actually like that. I don't have to go find a chore to do between sessions now which is a good thing. And this given how many modes require playing that as a frequent Challenge. Oh and the Spider-Gwen update is just awesome imo. My new 1-hit wonder right there.

The most disappointing thing is that honestly nothing really changed. Most updates are uniforms and some rotating bullshit like half off iso sets. T3 for new (>1 year like myself) is still annoying. Obviously T4 is still being gatekept, but releasing 2-3 a month at this point when it takes 2.5 months to grind a single one (if you get okay RNG) is so unsustainable it’s insane. And they’ve done nothing to address the absolute RNG bullshit fiesta that you need to go through to do anything in this game. Need to re roll a card? You’re gonna tank your pierce until you can pull another fodder card. Need to craft 7 on a card? You’re gonna combine 50+ times and have to settle for a 6. Need to reroll a CTP? 40 fodder obelisks and it’s still a 160 proc energy. Like come on. And like you said with the team collections. At a year in if I want to do it, I have to buy tons of dated useless unis to do so. And all for tokens to give me a 5% chance of capping it, which will take years. Sick. Honestly just sour with the lack of direction in anywhere other than spending money

I definitely gave up on card crafting because it's annoying that the card crafting cubes are stuck behind Dimension Rifts, which were never on my daily radar and is just another worthless piece of content. They should just shift them to GBR or something that most people actually play. If they added a pity timer to it, I would get on that grind, but for now... I'm good.

I don't understand how a game with such a massive roster, thus massive potential, just decides to keep releasing uniforms for the same characters to keep the meta completely stagnant while neglecting some characters for upwards of 8 years and simultaneously releasing new characters that are pointless. unfortunately some whalers still think that the team up collection is a good addition to the game. Its good if the dev executed it correctly like you said make it more accesible to all players rather than milking the whalers into buying the token pack. Sure they did add some token rewards through abx/abl but like you said in past video it just temporary fix and by the time they add more of this kind of shitty collection this same problem will occur again.

My disappointment with it is they made a banger pve game but they kinda forgot that to make constant profit so they halfassed pvp or co-op side which makes the game even alive. As the years passed from like, the developed 200 toons and had a balanced grind to the equivalent of enjoying a game into a mathematical chaos , like a kid throwing words while grownups are talkin, they are throwing stuff to see what sticks without a vision for future, just holding on something trying not to drown 😟

This game is so dead. The developers put 100% of their effort into putting out as many new uniforms as possible to make as much new money as possible. Screws everything else. Perfect example- in otherworld battle just had a Jean Grey with 10% less pierce and a worse ctp run thru all 5 of my guys including a better built Jean Grey. And what can you do? Who do you tell? Netmarble has no communication because they simply don't care. This is such a good game, and Netmarbles GREED has killed it

Tbh my favorite update of the year was Guardians of the Galaxy 3 update, not because it was full of content or amazing, but because Guardians are my favorite characters and I finally found a purpose in the game to get my favorite characters to their fullest potential, I finally had a long time goal for myself after feeling bored of the game for so long. Maybe the update wasn't amazing but I felt happy and excited to make the best out of my favorite characters

I ain't Alex but you can get CTP's from Shadowland Shop and OtherWorld Battle Shop. You can also get it from the Token Event once a month and the Check-In Reward on the 28th day.

PvP is more than half of the other hero collector I play, SWGoH, and it’s obviously a big seller for monetization. The highest profile game mode, Grand Arena, is basically Alliance Conquest against one other player, so late game you need 10+ teams each on offense and defense (current 3v3 for me is 13 defending teams and two fleets). The 10th best team is still a big part of the meta and obviously a lot of these teams have rock paper scissors as well and some are really only good on offense because the AI is too dumb to play them right. It’s a great system that keeps huge amounts of content relevant and not that hard to implement with what MFF already has. Similar age of game, and characters from 6+ year ago are still very much part of the meta with minimal reworks, basically just the equivalent of T2/T3’s (not new uniforms). The other thing that SWGoH does that’s easily replicated is require bad characters to unlock good ones. MFF does this a little with the epic quests, but the big toons (Galactic Legends) require a dozen characters to basically T3, and often those requirement characters have requirements of their own so you’re building something like 20 characters to get your big reward.
