The crunchy center of a crunchie bar is not called "honeycomb" in Canada. It is called what it is, sponge toffee. In the U.K. they have a similar bar called "violet crumble" that has honeycomb, which is honey.

Darryl Kinslow the violet crumble is Australian. And all of them are a honeycomb toffee. (Different countries have other names for it). It os a crunchie in the UK as well. I think theirs is slightly smaller than the Canadian crunchie. Watch This with Them. They are a UK brother and sister you tube channel that tries candy from all over. They’ve tried the violet crumble and the Canadian crunchie,
