That show was like a turning point for Disney's teen comedy programming (before Hannah & after Hannah). It was right near the dawn of social media & with news starting to travel faster/last longer in the public's memory. Perhaps had their been any ego clashes on Lizzie McGuire, That's So Raven or Smart Guy, those might be even more newsworthy, as soon as people remind themselves those shows were once on the air. After Hannah, almost every Disney "teencom" since then is easily recalled in this social media age & people can remember, "Oh yeah, I heard those two did not get along." i dont think the feud between selena gomez and jake t austin was fully selena's fault. disney channel shows are only given three seasons and if the show is really popular they are given a fourth and final season. Actually, I think it has more to do with them just trying to work things out and maintain their friendship when the evil on-set people of Disney were putting them against each other as if Jake were jealous of Selena (JTA’s haters are not the best hatedom either. He was not jealous of Selena in any way. Maybe he did get replaced by Noah Centineo on the set of Meet the Fosters in the mid 2010s, but then again, maybe he didn’t mean to have a drinking problem.
