i live in Arkansas. We have the Ouachita and Ozark Mountains and every time I think about heading out to see someone else's Fall display, I get stuck here because it is so hard to imagine that it is any better than what we have right here at home. One year we spent 10 days 4 wheeling in Gunnison National Forest. We timed the trip hoping to catch the leaves and first snowfall. It worked! The Aspens were gorgeous and several times we had to brush snow off the picnic table so we could have lunch. One of the best vacations we have ever had. Thanks for the great ideas of other places to visit!

While I’ve watched many of your videos and have enjoyed them all, I’ve never left a comment before. I just wanted to say that this vid was imho, one of the best you’ve ever done. The stunning subject matter combined with your awesome cinematography and mad editing skills (and let’s not forget your awesome narrator) combine to elevate this video next level! Thank you for all of your efforts. They’re greatly appreciated! Keep up the great work!!

The Natchez Trace Parkway is another great "leaf peeping" drive from mid-October through early November, depending on how north you are on it. The Tennessee section is particularly awesome in the middle of October.

We just returned tonight from Shenandoah. It was spectacular!! Pro Tip: if you don't like waiting for parking spots at overlooks avoid the park Columbus Day weekend! Thankfully, Tuesday and the rest of the week had only a few people. Our drive back home to Rhode Island was incredible. PA, NY, and CT were painted yellow, orange, and red. Fall road trips are just as fun as summer trips!!

These are amazingly beautiful places, but for those looking for fall or anytime of year beauty, the lakes of northern Minnesota should definitely be on your list to consider !!! KYD goes around us but just maybe someday the will sneak through here and see what they been missing 😘 Just went on a 250 mile fall drive today with my lonely neighbor who lost his wife last year and today would have been her 83rd birthday! Spent time in the nooks and crannies of leech lake then headed north, fall beauty over a big lake is amazing ! Duluth and Lake Superior is stunning 😍 Happy fall everyone! Blessings

While watching, I remembered that my dad used to drive the Columbia Gorge regularly as a young adult, driving a log truck on the Historic Columbia River Highway. The Gorge is almost back yard for us, it's an hour to get to Hood River on the freeway. My wife's mom remembers coming out just after World War II from Iowa to Oregon, the family couldn't believe the beauty here. We just crossed Santiam Pass this past weekend, leaves are changing slowly and some great color there as well.

We are the only country that has such a robust and truly unique National Park System. In no other country do the citizens own the national parks. They are ours. Truly amazing places and should be enjoyed by us all as often as possible. It’s so tempting to follow in your footsteps Marc and Trish to buy a rig, hit the road and see as many National Parks (and other gems along the way) as possible. Thank you

Two years in a row we have chased fall colors the first week of October in the Rocky Mountains states of Wyoming and now Colorado. Drives that won’t disappoint: Cody Wyoming through Yellowstone down to Grand Teton on to Bridger-Teton National Forest. Cortez Colorado up the 145 next to the Dolores River to Telluride and the Gondola ride in the tops of the trees. Then down and over to Ridgway and Ouray. Colors were on point and even doubled back the same route on the way home to Kingman Arizona.

As a former VT resident for 40 years, we truly miss the fall colors and scenic drives. next time you are there, capture Burlington looking down onto Lake Champlain with the NY Adirondacks in the back drop, as you drive westward from the top of Main St near UVM, and take in an afternoon on the walkable Church St and the Burlington harbor. What really struck me about this episode was how much more of an impact your RV lifestyle has made on Caleb than on Tori and Carson. Tori was only with you for the first, what, 2 years? And Carson wasn't far behind her in flying from the nest, as well. But Caleb has had the most time on the road with you and has you both pretty much to himself these days. It's interesting to think about for me, an eldest child, that I had my parents all to myself for the first 2 years of my life, but I flew my own nest early, as did both of my younger sisters, so none of us really had the chance to spend alone time with our parents as we moved from childhood into adulthood. Caleb, being your youngest child, never had you both pretty much all to himself until both Tori and Carson left, and his being a young teen when he found himself the last chick in the nest has been very interesting to watch. And while I know you will all always be a close family, even after Caleb flys the nest, I am sensing that all of you are taking full advantage of these last precious times spent with your youngest child. I really enjoy this "new format", every bit of it and I hope you do more like it in the future. But I have to say, I missed watching the family dynamics play out while traveling and exploring. I think what draws us fans to your channel is that you make us feel like we are actually there with you, a part of your family and sharing your adventures. I am looking forward to next week's Cascades Nat'l Park episode, having lived in the Skagit Valley for almost 18 years it'll be interesting to see what was once "my backyard" through other eyes...

Simply incredible! So glad to have been to so many of these places as we are getting up in years and are now seeking journeys that are less elevation and easier to tow our AIrstream but we now have more time to explore. We keep going yet our US & CA bucket list continues to grow & grow. What a wonderful lifestyle to be blessed with.

Beautiful. I always get tears in my eyes when I see the balloon fest. Had to laugh when Caleb was in the stream rock hopping and it went a little off course! My wife says it's something I'd be doing, being young.
