The scariest thing that ever happened to me was when I was still going to college, I got in the elevator. At first I thought I forgot to push the button to go up to the fifth level. When I pushed it again, it still didn’t work. The next thing I know was that the elevator shook violently and the door kept opening and closing. The student that was waiting for the elevator saw the whole thing and took of running to get help. Finally when the elevator stop shaking and the door was wide open, I dashed out of there and never to trust an elevator ever again.The worst feeling was that I was alone in the elevator when that happened.

When you spoke of accidental cannibals, it reminded me of an awful murder in the town I live in. Back in the summer of 2014, I was working as a night security guard at an aerospace factory. I used to listen to the radio in the guard shack so I could hear if security was needed in the plant. I had it on scan so I could hear city and county emergency dispatch. I heard this call about a murder come through and the description the responding officer had when he called for backup made me sick. Gregory Hale killed, dismembered her corpse and ate it. He had picked his victim up from a liquor store a block from my house and at one point was interviewed by myself and my best friend when we still ran a paranormal investigation team. The rumor in Summitville and Manchester (which blended together almost) was he had served her at a cookout which ended up being the reason someone notified the police. My scary story: when I was younger I would always hear my grandmother call my name. And I would just shake it off thinking maybe it was just my ears playing tricks on me. Until one Friday night something weird and kinda creepy happened. It was around 1 in the morning, my grandma works late nights on fridays. I heard my grandmother call my name. I then started to panic and kinda freak out. I didn’t understand how I heard her call me but she wasn’t even home. I then called my grandmother asking when she would be home. She said “I’m still at work dear, I don’t get off until 2:30am.” “Is everything okay?”. I told her “I’m fine just weirded out.” She said “okay if you need anything, call me.” I told her I would then I hanged up. Hey waited hours and hours and she didn’t came home yet, I started to panic more and more until I heard her call my name again. I said “grandma are you here?” But no response. I asked again “grandma are you here now?” Still no answer. I then called her and she said “I’m still one hour away from home.” I started to cry and panic. I hanged up the phone and ran to my room. I barricaded my door to Mae sure no one came in. I wanted to wake up my parents but I didn’t feel like getting out of my room would be safe. And my parents are hard sleepers so I couldn’t call them or text them. So I stayed in my room praying that god would help me. Then a hour passed and I heard a car outside of the house. I looked outside from my window, I saw my grandma’s car. I opened my door running twords her telling her what happened. She said it was probably just my head playing tricks on me. The voice of my grandmother continued on until I turned 13. I thought maybe it was a ghost trying to become like my grandmother and try to speak to me. But I don’t care what our who it was. All that I know is that it stopped, I don’t have to worry anymore.

the scariest thing thats ever happened to me was when i was like 8 or 9 me and my sister were up late watching the grudge, are tv was next to the hallway and when one of the parts where the grudge makes that scary sound it makes a black shadow walked from my room to my sisters room after that me and my sister ran to my moms room and we've never seen that shadow since but in our house my great grandma and grandpa built this house from the ground upand since they built it they had seen a il girl in their closet and also a couple years ago my great grandpa passed away in our house and til this day we see both their spirit's.

Hey, Lindsay the one scary thing that happened to me is something I'll never forget. I've never been a believer in the paranormal, but there was this one night in October where I was driving home from school driving through a neighborhood when all of the sudden, a woman with black hair in a white dress walks in front of my car. I hit the brakes to avoid hitting her only to realize that there was no one there. I am convinced that I saw a ghost that night.

When I was 5 I was at the German American Bank down the street from my house when it got robbed, we were in the parking lot and my dad told me to get back in the car but I wouldn't listen, then the guy came outside, saw my dad, raised his gun for a moment, and then just ran away. Not gonna lie, when you said accidental cannibalism I remembered a story from one of my history teachers. We were learning about labor laws and such and how terrible work conditions were. And he started telling us a story about how at one point in a lard factory, a worker had fallen into one of the vats, and was essentially mixed in with the lard. The company not wanting to loose money ended up sending the batch out for sale anyway, and people ended up buying it. And that that case was one of the contributors to the laws we have today. You can fact check me on this but that was what he told us.

Scariest thing to happen to me? A few friends and I decided it would be a good idea to play with a Ouija board. Well it wasn't a good idea, at all. My best friend and I had a shadow figure follow us for about a year. The house that we played with it in burned down and I'm told that the board was untouched (this was after I moved).

Scariest time for me ever was trying to go to sleep in my moms room with her only to look up and see a shadow of a woman standing at the end of the bed. It was completely black no discernable features. Just staring at us. Our house was haunted but that was the first time anything like this happened to me. So ething scary that happened to me was when i was about 7 i heard my Mum call me in the middel of the night, confused i walked into there room to see my Mum and Dad asleep, i went to the bathroom to see if it was a dream, cuz i cant see myself in mirrors in dreams so i thought i was just playing mind games on myself. As i crept down the hallway i saw two white glowing eyes at the end, i walked into the bathroom and saw myself, messy long hair and all. It still scares me 😰

One time our AC went out so we had the windows open. Our dog, jagger, started barking at the window for no reason, keep in mind it’s pitch black outside. I looked through the screen and couldn’t see anything so I shut the window. My dog doesn’t bark often so I thought he just heard a cat or had to go potty. I took him outside and he wouldn’t stop searching for something- after letting him pee, I brought him back inside. I very very quickly shut and locked the door- along with the windows. After telling my mom, I went to my room and continued playing my Wii- trying time forget about everything. About thirty minutes later, my ex texted me, “why did you shut the window in my face” after that I had a long talk about how he scared the sh*t out of me. He never did that again but ever since I’ve been paranoid. That could have been a killer and I never would have known. I’m also very very thankful that my dog is part beagle- he senses things a lot quicker.

I dont usually comment on anything on KZbin. But. The escalator one is absolutely terrifying to me. When I was very young around 5-6, I was wearing a pair of pants that were a little torn at the bottom. We got on the escalator at a mall and I went to get off and it pulled my pants in. Thankfully my dad was fast getting to me and ripped the leg of my pants off before it drug me down. I walked away with only a bruise and a scratch on my knee. Needless to say, take the stairs if I can..

When I was in high school I was in drama club. One night I stayed behind at school for rehearsals, and when I got home I found that my bedroom was broken into and vandalized. Some of my stuffed animals were stabbed and ripped open and smeared all over with my acrylic paints that were also stabbed and ripped open.
